Lolcow KingCobraJFS / Josh Saunders - Amateur musician, YouTube Streamer, wandmaker, and self-proclaimed "sexy goth badboy". Perpetually circling the drain.

Hi, it's Games.

I've ceased development on the game.

For some context, it's important to understand the series of events that led to this decision. It wasn't a simple decision either, so there's some detail involved.

I began development.....I want to say, around....a year and a half ago. I decided to make the game because the community was really cool and I wanted to contribute my own piece of art, as everyone else usually does. I wanted to make a genuinely good, well balanced and well developed game for the community (the subreddit) in return for being a cool group of people who enjoyed sharing in our common interest of Josh's exploits. I didn't wanna charge anything for it, I just wanted to share cool shit with cool people and hang out with my friends. For the first six months, I put in the bare bones for the game. It was rudimentary and it did not look good, man....but it was functional mechanically to some small degree.

I start to either make, edit, purchase, or have someone else make assets for the game. This game started to take up large parts of my free time and it started to cost me money, which was fine so long as I, at the very least, got a demo out. Everything was going pretty smoothly and it looked great. Hell, it sounded great. I was very specific about what I wanted and I think it paid off. I interacted with the community (the subreddit) in the mean time, trying to be informative to newer members or generally be polite about things. A lot of people are very gatekeepy about Josh. It serves the function of ejecting a-logs from your community but it also seems offputting to people who genuinely want to know about Josh, I've never been a fan of gatekeeping so I always wanted to help anyone who asked. There are enough people in that community who are the opposite, I didn't need to be like that.

It was between 2020-2021 that things started to change on the subreddit and.....you know, I couldn't point to a single culprit. Honestly, I don't know if it was Josh being placed on IP2's watchlist, or the cross-interaction with other communities like Cyraxx's or Genova's Pisstroopers, honestly it could be neither and something completely different.
I couldn't tell you what caused this shift but I know what happened; It went from being a placed filled with reasonably nice and civil trolls who just wanted to watch Josh unfold as a long-form story....to a place filled with very angry a-logs who, instead of laughing at the stupidity of it all and being good sports about it, became incensed by whatever dumb shit he did that week and if Josh wasn't there to throw tomatoes at, trust me, they'd find someone else to shit on. It's understandable to be upset about Josh, too. He does some pretty dumb things but, I mean, come on.

Sometimes, that target was me. That became progressively worse every 3-4 months, I wanna say. Which was fine. It's just some internet shit, I can turn off my phone and you can disappear, but I had to question why I was putting in all this hard work only to get treated like a dickhead by some of the people I'm making it for, as a gift for a subreddit that really didn't exist anymore. At that point, there was really no point or any incentive to continue, especially when I could focus on making something else that isn't based on the subject of an obscure internet dumb-dumb. I could actually make something that wasn't essentially a glorified and professionally made meme, something that couldn't reflect poorly on me in the future should he pass away (Which is probably sooner rather than later.) I don't need that on my conscience and I don't need the ire of subreddit users when I've already got enough shit to worry about and tolerate.

So, there it is. I didn't want to end the project, I had a lot of fun doing it and I was really excited to share it with people. The truth is that the shitty people ruined and they know who they are. I don't wanna say "That's why you can't have nice things" but that's why you can't have nice things. There's some cool people on the subreddit, and they know who they are too. This kinda stuff doesn't really apply to them either.

Shocking to anyone outside of KiwiFarms, but this is probably the last place where you can have genuinely nice conversations with people about Josh, that isn't infected with a-logs and angry spergs who don't know when to take a break. You guys have always been really supportive of my endeavors and you have no idea how much I appreciate that. Even though I've been called a sperg on this thread (That's probably true depending on the context lol), I want you to know that I sincerely want to thank you for that and any helpful criticism you've given me.

As a show of thanks (and maybe a confirmation that it's me too) below are some screenshots that I haven't released to the public. I'm sorry I didn't finish it, and I'm sorry I let some of you down.

Sincerely,

- Games

Dang dude, gutted, It looks like it would have been a cool game. I always thought the cobraverse was missing a good fan game, but you are right about the reddit, it sucks.

The anger and hatred mainly comes from the fact his lifestyle is enabled by his discord handlers along with an army of paypigs keeping him from hitting rock bottom. So he marches o with his addiction, and grows increasingly smug and unbearable as he seemingly has no consequences for his dumb ass actions. Even his own family enables him so they don't have to deal with him except at Christmas and thanksgiving.

It seems to be the lolcow cycle, if a cow gets a large following and too much "fame" there are bound to be Idea Guys who attempt to handle the cow and ruin everything.

That Discord, for whatever people think of it, doesn't exactly operate in the way people think it does. I had a couple of alt accounts to keep an eye on Josh because I like to watch him, so I know how this works. I'll say whatever I can say without blowing up that spot.

Around 2019 onward, Josh received more attention. Specifically from the DankNet video. Josh's generally atmosphere was just saturated with these idiots who saw low hanging fruit and wanted to fuck with him, not really understanding that his eccentricity was the focal point and not his outbursts of anger. He became more and more secluded, refusing the share his opinion on things because people would just fuck with him more.

That's what that Discord is. It's not a place for people to enable his behaviour, so much as give him a safe place where he can do it without being called a boglim. It's a place where he can try to be the old Josh who shares parts about his life without a filter. At first, that was something he did extensively. About a year later, he just became as boring in his Discord servers than he was outside of them. They don't exactly feed him information on what to do, so much as they blow smoke up his ass and let him whack his dick whenever he wants to. Occasionally, they'll help him if he ever has a severe problem. At this point, he barely enters it and whenever he does he's watching some Terrence Popp video.

The real enabling that goes on here is twofold; People who send him booze and his father. Clint doesn't give a single, solitary fuck about Josh unless he is horribly or mildly inconvenienced. Clint's video gets bombarded? Josh is getting a call. Clint has to pay for Josh's overdraft fees? Josh is getting a call. Someone sends Clint pictures of Josh beating off on Chatterbate? Josh gets a call.

Clint knows precisely what is going on. People email him or call him, they tell him, it's not like he's oblivious. He knows that Josh is completely incapable of living by himself, that he drinks constantly and he's a fuckin' mess of a human being. He could remand him to a conservatorship, he could go to a judge and place him within the care of a state/private facility, even the slight threat of removing his internet (after tolerating the toddler fit he'd pull) would be enough to get him to stop drinking as much, as he's an incredibly passive person and always caves to demands. That's why he doesn't have his debit card anymore.

Clint could really help his son. He just refuses to, because "out of sight, out of mind" is better than "I guess I have to take care of my responsibility."

I really hope that the people who send him those bottles of booze and nips of Vodka like the one he was drinking on stream straight from the bottle this morning at 9 AM see what it's doing to him and think twice about it. Today's stream was just tragic to watch and I mean that with no exaggeration.

It's sad, but it's true. I wish his father would help him but, it is what it is.

I can vouche I've had like three accounts in the discord. It's kind of creepy tbh. They also have a bunch of other retarded youtubers in there and they all kind of play into their dellusions. But it's not as nefarious as people believe. Just very weird and creepy.

That was a rough stream, even for Josh's antics. Kind of crazy, I've been watching Josh on and off since the Trappped documentary. I would have never thought that Cobes would essentially turn into Jared 'wake-up-in-the-snow' Brown.

It's sad, but it's true. I wish his father would help him but, it is what it is.
Sadly, I don't even think Clint cutting off Josh would do the trick now. All Josh needs is booze, tobacco, internet, and a roof over his head. He's not above sniping tobacco. Rent in Casper is, what, $400? His paypigs will easily keep him going.

Sorry to hear you had to put the game to rest, TWU-Games. I figure your sentiment mirrors why BiteSize is posting fewer and further between. Josh getting raging drunk or high isn't new - it's just all Josh does anymore. It's hard to laugh at this point. I lean more towards being sad for Cobes than angry, though.

What do you think Clint should do? What would you realistically do if you were in his shoes?

Are you aware though that there's a couple of discords?

Are you referring to Super Pay Pig Courtney and the "CourtneySux" discord?
There are mods and court in one and then there's a second one with weens and trolls.

This stream is absolutely fucked.

Cobes is killing himself with fan mail.

Edit: Utter shitshow. This is probably one of the lowest points in our Dark Lord's life.

He's doing vocal matching to Linkin Park songs and plugged in his headset to avoid copyright claims, but he ended up muting his mic and all we can hear is the music playing. Don't expect there to be a copy of this stream later, it's certainly going to get struck down.
lmao this is hilarious. chat is desperately trying to tell him. lip syncing johnny cash - hurt now
