"Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Kentish Town fire station were at the scene.

"Our 999 Brigade Control officers received eight calls alerting them to the fire."

Bus routes 46, and 214 are currently being diverted around Pancras Road.

It is understood the fire is being treated as accidental.

Two fire engines were seen at the scene after at least eight calls by members of the public were made.

GB News understands the road was reopened shortly after the fire was extinguished.

Approximately 72.1 million people pass through King's Cross St. Pancras station annually, making it the busiest station on the London Underground network.

As many as 267,000 people are estimated to pass through the station, first opened in 1863, daily.
