Curing is harder than prevention, and I believe prevention is far easier and accessible. Trannydom is prevented with enough positive to negative experience with your sex, and keeping away from weird shit, and I think preventing infantalization of teens/young adults cuts down pedophilia a fair bit (not saying its an acceptable fetish, but more all of these are basically sexual paraphilias which more or less function the same).

I don't think cures are impossible, people detrans every day, but its also not simple process.

Some do want it cured, if it causes them enough problems especially in relationships. Its possible but also difficult.

The neural pathways for any paraphilias are reinforced by experience or dwelling on it, but deplete slowly when idle. Say someone had a foot fetish and then had a girlfriend for a year who never did it but was non the less a fulfilling lover. It might go from central, to a side thing, to more of a memory. The neural pathways can always grow back though.

There are plenty of real sickos out there. And I don't think that the thing that never happens, should be listed with the things that happen all the time. That's absurd.
