Latex - Latex is another one of the most common fetishes. The easiest way to explain it is that it highlights and accentuates the body. By covering everything it accentuates what is left, mostly the curves and figure of the body. If that person was to then unzip or leave a certain area uncovered it will naturally draw your focus to that area. The shine also helps, similar to how 'normal' porn will oil both of the people up to create a shiny skin, latex is just naturally more reflective than skin. The nature of latex also helps to 'smooth' out the body, by being so tight it can help to spread/cover any natural folds or creases, effectively creating a more Barbie doll or photoshopped appearance. I'm not going to include images of fetish pornography but if you look up latex catsuit on any image search I would be willing to bet most people find it more attractive than they are expecting. There's also a side of latex fetishism that is more focused on the latex itself. Instead of being focused on how the latex looks on other people is is a more internal fetish based on how it makes you feel. Latex is skin tight and somewhat thick, it has specific noises too, those are erotic for some people. Essentially some people find wearing latex erotic, some people find others wearing latex erotic. The most common piece of latex clothing for this is a catsuit, these are specifically not gimpsuits, that comes later. This sort of fetish doesn't have a specific name but there is a subset of fetishes that are colloquially known as material fetishes (though this term brings up marxist philosophy for some reason?). There are several closely related fetishes in this group. PVC fetishism is essentially the same as latex, effectively a poor man's latex. Leather fetishism is also incredibly common in gay communities, though not exclusive by any means, though once again it is dependent on culture hence why there seems to be a disproportionally large number of straight women into wearing leather from Germany. Wetsuit/neoprene fetishism is rather similar to latex but with an added bondage aspect from the thicker material. One material fetish that you have probably seen in certain threads here about strange images found online is satin fetishism. It is primarily an older person thing and is one of the reasons that the 50+ year old trannies will all be wearing satin clothing. Another common fetish is spandex, though a lot of similar types of material get grouped in with this, basically anything tight and stretchy that isn't rubber. Arguably it's one of the more common types, a lot of the more normal clothing that gets eroticised is made of something spandex adjacent, think yoga pants and cycling clothing, this also includes certain types of swimsuits, the thicker more serious one piece types. Something that most people would not even consider a fetish, it's just normal to them right? I just find swimsuits erotic, this is how the other types of material fetishists think too, you have just never stopped to consider you might be one of them. Which leads into another type of common fetish.
