Boobs, the natural attraction vital to the survival of the human species. Infants yearn for boobs as it is in their instinct. It is the symbol of fertility that represents our species entire survival. Without boobs, we wouldn't exist.

Boobs an asset a women has to attract their male counterparts. Could it be that such attraction to boobs stem from their survival instincts? Who knows.

I would also agree it's not a fetish or kink of any kind but a term commonly used by @femboy fart huffer — Partialism—posits that sexual arousal to any characteristic outside of genitalia (or a very pronounced, notable interest) is some form of fetish, but it more or less only applies if it causes some form of psychological distress or impediment. Stuff like "breasts" being considered a paraphilia was the case between 1994-2013 but it still only applies if your interest was abnormal. e.g. unable to look a woman in the eye, ever, because you felt constantly compelled to look at her chest.

I personally disagree with any primary or secondary sexual characteristic qualifying but it's meant to cover all bases. I'm sure there's guys or girls out there with an a genuine obsession that puts any run of the mill boob-fan to shame.

There's a difference between 'your boobs make you sexually attractive' and 'I am sexually attracted to your boobs'. Pretty much every straight guy will like boobs, only a portion of those will like them to a fetishistic level. Replace boobs in any context with some other secondary sex characteristic like long hair and it's pretty obvious. I have seen a lot of people talk about how hot someone's boobs are with incredibly similar language and tone that would be instantly clocked as fetishisation in any other context. It's the fixation that makes it a fetish, it's not wanking to something because there's a hot woman and her boobs make her hotter, it's wanking to the boobs specifically because you find them sexually arousing and fantasise about touching and squeezing them and so on. It's just once again, certain non reproductive sexual desires are cultural or socially acceptable in some cultures. No one would say that you're a horrible person for being a bit too into boobs.

This is just dsm bullshit. That's a problem with the entire dsm and how people use it. It's not a blanket thing for any sort of psychology, the dsm isn't some bible or glossary of every psychological concept. It is specifically for the 'diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders'. So anything in there is designed to diagnose a disorder, therefore it will only tell you about things that are to the level of a diagnosable disorder. It's like if your only source of indian recipes were from professional chefs, you might then think that oh every indian food is restaurant quality. The dsm is specifically and exclusively for clinical diagnosis, not for 'how much do you like boobs' talk on the tranny death site. When the dsm says that partialism needs to be causing distress what they mean is for it to be classified as a fetishistic disorder in a cilinical setting it needs to cause distress, not that for something to be a partalism (or fetish in general) it needs to cause distress. I guess an easier way of explaining it is those people that go to the doctor because they have a headache, they don't get diagnosed with anything because it doesn't meet the threshold for diagnosis, that doesn't mean that they don't actually have a headache though.
