Fetishes are very easy to figure out when you stop trying to make them bigger than they really are, everyone wants the explanation to a weird fetish to be childhood trauma or molestation, when really what it is 90% of the time is first infatuation. I think the link between autism and object sexuality is underdiscussed. Autistic men are hugely overrepresented among serious fetishists, especially the stranger ones common online.

That's not true.
