we may be overthinking their distaste for tanya (which i myself actually did watch for all the reasons they think right wingers would like it). i mean sure not having watched it they might think things like mary sioux is a callout of their nutty belief system. but i think maybe their real problem with it is tanya's a loli who isn't sexualized so the show doesn't make their pps hard

I’m about as normie as it gets when it comes to someone who watches small quantities of anime, so my brother screens shows and movies for me because I’m on bad terms with the weeaboo community after they labeled me as a tourist and hit me with the Bible Black trap 15 years ago (thinking about that made me puke in my mouth a little).

Anyways, he recommended Tanya the Evil to me and it was pretty good and at least different from most of the sludge. I can see how the lolicons would be mad at it, because most of the shows schtick is how everyone else is terrified of a little girl because she acts like a psychopathic, warmongering 40 year old man. I’m guessing that the genderbending baited a bunch of sick fuck fetishists?


8/10 would recommend. Didn’t see the movie though. How was that?

It had a large amount of fake tweets about Nyara obviously selling links to Loli and CP, all of the very innocent and just spergy ones like him complaining about republicans were archived, but none of the damning ones with alleged selling of illegal material were not, even ones from 2025, long after Nyara became known.
