It's more like whenever she goes off on her silly woman tangents, but once she's focused and isn't having one of those moments, they make for fun streams.

A good portion of James Rolfe's (former) audience would argue that he's been in Zombie Simpsons mode for the last decade, roughly overlapping with subcontracting the production of his content to a MCN third party called Screenwave run by a troon.

Others would argue the watershed moment was actually further back or some other moment: getting married to his ballbreaker wife, having kids, the failure of the AVGN movie with Mike Matei taking over channel content while James was away filming, the departure of Bootsy due to friction with Mike, James hiding from COVID for years and refusing to come into the studio, Mike being pushed out to stream FT with hardly even a Thank You, etc.

Thread tax: Kirsche has some overlap with ItsaGundam.

Gundam had a reasonably successful, shortlived podcast called Quality Content on YT with his producer Josh Pescatore (formerly worked for Keemstar at ?DramaAlert).

Kirsche appeared as a guest on this iteration of Gundam's podcast and was generally well received.

At some point in Spring 2024, Gundam fired his producer Pescatore because he wanted the full 500-1k/mth cut of the show's revenue that his producer was getting for himself. Apparently Gundam was going to have Cecil Says produce for free a new podcast with Kirsche.

According to Pesc, Gundam is a trainwreck behind the scenes: uncontrolled drug use, scared of and used by the female family members in his life, doesn't understand the basics of YT monetization despite having a successful channel for years, frightened and cucked by a female artist called Anus who did some of the art for his channel and was allegedly siphoning all the proceeds of his merch shop, getting so high he'd pass out on livestreams a la Ralphamale, consumed by petty jealousy over the success of fellow creators, lazy and unmotivated, impossible to tardwrangle, completely uninterested in streaming or any fanservice, etc.

So eventually, all this came to a head and his producer Pesc was unceremoniously dumped and the Quality Content podcast ended without explanation. Pesc was apparently also doing research for some of Gundam's scripted content and also doing some financial planning advisement for him (Josh Pescatore is apparently independently wealthy because of a payout from Chiquita banana that was funding rebels decades ago when Pesc's father was murdered while surveying in South America on a property adjacent to their turf)

It's 2hrs+ long, but Gundam's old producer explained the fallout in June 2024

TL; DR - When Gundam dumped his existing podcast and producer last spring, he used a potential collab podcast with Kirsche as an excuse. AFAIK, nothing came of it.

I did notice last month that Gundam was back on YT doing a new pod without either Pescatore or Kirsche.

This is completely unsurprising Gundam always seemed like a bundle of misfortune, pessimism and good old incompetence rolled in to one, some how he manages to work 3x as hard for half the reward and the copes and seethes about it the man would be a grade A lolcow if he where more prone to oversharing

I would listen to some of her stuff about Bridge to get information and learn about whats going on -- she's the only person I know of who is regularly covering it.

However, theres only so long I can stand listening to an overly online woman try to blackpill me in-between doing a baby voice that makes my skin fucking crawl. Literally every time she shouts out a new sub or follower she does it and it sounds so gross. Maybe if she dropped the pedobaiting cutesy shit I could stand her. She's like a Sh0eonHead that appeals to a more autistic demographic.

Completely fair. I've had opportunities to doxx people here that I haven't taken because it wouldn't have been good sportsmanship.

She mentioned times that the farms have been mobilized, but I can't think of any. What is she talking about?

Also I guess this board is sticking around for better or worse. When will Null start doing MATI with a Live2D slobbermutt model?

I said it before but Dear Feeder should do a hangout/stream with Kirsche, the same way he did that hangout with Jim. She seems to have been around the Internet for a while to see it change, from gayming to social media, etc. and he would probably learn a few things about the vtuber sphere.

I like Gundam but I wish he would go easy on the weed, it's destroying his brain. I kind of knew Pescatore wouldn't stay for long as a producer given the way Gundam was interacting with him, way too passive-agressive. That said, getting Cecil Says is the worst decision and I'm glad the Gundam/Kirsche podcast didn't become a thing. Also I'm fucking tired of hearing about DSP, yes he is bad at video games, yes he keeps asking money from his audience but I don't fucking give a shit.

Part of the issue as I understand it was that he was too high towards the end of the show's run to finish some episodes. As in, his producer Pesc had to stealthily end the episode without him because he had passed out off camera.

The other part with his female family members was something about lending them five figure sums of money while ending his longtime relationship with researcher and showrunner over the equivalent of $600/month in superchat revenue when Pescatore was doing 100% of the show prep.

I tried to save and compress local copies, but the combined run time was 9 hours+, so I gave up because the process was taking forever.

The fact that Kirsche's two guest appearances on Gundam's old podcast were each 4+ hours long does show that they had great chemistry and that she reinvigorated him.

The rest of the episodes in his Quality Content podcast arc were under 2 hours, involved him showing up uninformed, had him dropping topics that his producer had prepared because he was disinterested and wanted to wrap up faster and just generally had disdain for the superchat segments with decent revenue coming in.

I can see why it was suggested that a turn towards a podcast with Kirsche as his co-host could've brought out the best in him and made a better product.
