Casuals and tourists forget that Rin was only ever propped up by the shorts algo that Aviel wanted all the idol girls to get into, it's just that she was the main one to do it and did it before the others so it always looked like she was much more popular than she was. People like her have astroturfed popularity, clips watchers and shorts watchers and political spergs will latch onto them because they see a clip or two they like/agree with and sub and then forget they exist until it's convenient.

People like Kirsche have a much more organic and strong base of community support, people actually watch her streams and enjoy them instead of relying on clips, and she has said things that piss people off on all sides yet people go back to her because at least she's willing to be honest. And she has put up with enough bullshit that she's not really doing it as a pickme routine except with asmon she absolutely wants the mold dick.

Rin got stuck with one of the worst types of fan base to have in this sphere, a bunch of trannies who glommed onto her because of her retarded choice to be the "prince" and her catering to them as a safe space. Now those trannies are affecting who is "safe" for her to be even remotely associated with and who isn't, who she can stream with, what games she can stream etc. Idk how deep her personal politics go down the retard rabbit hole but unless she already is a pooner I doubt she has seen the true depths of horror her orbiters have in their skulls, and that's it, those are *her people*

I love Kirsche like I love Asmon, they have their hearts in the right place, but they are not and are not willing to educate themselves about any subjects they are commenting on. They have intuition, but they don't have all the facts. Which makes easily caught by bullshitery/disinformation campaigns and wouldn't be able to defend their opinions in a debate where the other person knows the subject better or is willing to lie blatantly (like Hasan).

Their appeal is that they're normal people (normal internet people, at least). Only total fucking weirdos "educate themselves" about political shit. There's a place for that, but Kirsche's become our internet buddy by being what she really is (cartoon version). If she became an expert in anything but getting her nails done, she'd be changed for the worse.

I see what you mean, but if you want to change stuff around you or fix a problem, you have to learn about it first. Of course, that is not their goal, they are entertainers (Kirsche and Zach, not Hasan who roleplay as a retarded activist, yet never tries to do anything needing an actual action). I do wonder if they have some pet things that they hold dear and that they would be willing to defend. Sometimes this commenting on news seems a bit nihilistic (idk if this is the right word here). Originally when Pippa stopped being edgy, I thought (and maybe for a time, correctly) based on the timing that it was an internal decision to avoid attracting any more schizophrenic dogkillers because they cause unnecessary problems.
