No, the point of Vtubing is to make fun videos and live-streams with cute anime (or other cartoon styles if they're available) 2D and 3D drawings that are animated.

I don't mind if streamers prefer streaming with anime avatars instead of IRL face-cams, but they shouldn't stream with anime personas if they aren't comfortable with showing their face. That just enables whatever self-esteem and self-image issues they have.

A person should stream with an anime face because it's fun, not because they don't like themselves.

Then why is seeing her face so important? If, by your own opinion, the point is to make stuff with cute anime as a theme? You seem personally invested in seeing her face, not in a principled way but an obsessive one. is it possible you would benefit in some way by being able to visually identify her IRL?

I definitely don't get the obsession of doxing people...

People have and continue to make videos without a visual representation of themselves, there is literally no difference between the two. A person showing their face or sharing willingly their name should only be their own decision. Those autistic data sniffers that take a tiny bit information to dox people are absolute tards. Definitely the worst part of the farms.

An IRL face isn't an issue, people. I can understand concerns with addresses, names, and phones, but not the face itself. Showing our actual faces isn't something for ourselves to worry about (outside of operations like espionage, but that's a different matter), and for the record I do live a nice life so I'm not miserable.

I'm just worried about self-respect for others. You want proof I'm a man of my word? That I'm not projecting or hypocritical? Fine. Here's my face. Can Kirsche do the same?

And yes, I have vitiligo like MJ (RIP). That technically makes me whiter than most people. 😁

its a power thing as well as a parasocial thing in the case of vtubers. many will try and find the face or general location of a vtuber they enjoy because it makes them feel even closer to said vtuber.

theres also people who just cant stand the idea of anybody vtuber or not being allowed to not show their face online. those are the people that confuse me the most. its like they need everybody to show their face just because they were retarded and did it themselves or something.
 
I deleted it. He clearly has some kind of enjoyment from posting his personal information and in addition to his alogging, I don’t want to encourage his behavior.
 
I'm not obsessed with doxing people, and if I'm a tourist for Vtubing, then I don't wanna join the V-cult. Also, I'm not A-logging, because I don't want Vtubers' lives to be ruined. And it's not para-social, because I could give less of a damn about actually hanging out with Vtubers if they have mental issues that prevent them from interacting in real life. Also, my post didn't have anything that need to be deleted, SteelPlatedHeart ya doof.

Also, a face barely qualifies as doxing. Phone Numbers, Addresses, other stuff, sure. But faces? Let's not freak out over something we show off to the public in IRL interactions.
