Your summary's pretty on point, just wanted to add that Nux was posting unrelated messages so close to instances of the minor exclaiming their age and engaging in weird behavior (which happened a lot) that it's nigh impossible he never saw anything he should have acted on and was at best grossly negligent about the whole red situation.

I think there's enough to say it's viable for someone in Kirsche's position to give a "Yeah that's pretty bad, if it's true Nux needs to take some accountability and make sure that doesn't happen again" sort of statement. Staying quiet is also viable and probably smarter given how heated things are now.

Basically, she fell asleep before the juicy part about the minor that actually got groomed in the Discord, says Nikandros' video should've been more front-loaded (maybe valid), has gripes with the Tectone bashing at the start, and brushes off the EPI allegations with "those kinds of thumbnails were a meta everyone was doing it."

I feel like that would be dicey because her dad's girlfriend is a leftist, I think the poor guy has terrible taste in women, and I'd assume her dad would want his girlfriend around too, which could create conflict or drama if she's around for prolonged periods

Kirsche did briefly touch on it today, not directly but she said "Don't have minors on your damn discord servers" (paraphrasing). She said her mods instantly ban people that try joking about their age or anyone that actually confesses to being underage, no exceptions, so none of the "teehee I'm 12" shit

I could give less of a shit about Kirsche but this did not paint her in a good light. Making pitiful excuses like "Oh I fell asleep while watching an hour and a half long video" and "Oh he was bashing Tectone too much at the beginning!" to downplay Nikandros's video....
This woman watched the entire thing and got mad that her associates were rightfully being exposed. She can downplay the video all she wants, it ultimately paints her as a sweeper for Nux's retarded negligence and EPI practices.

Im not defending Kirsche too much but she has a small point, the 2010s was filled with retarded sexualized anime clickbait that was centered around hentai or the more softcore ecchi, VNs with optional porn like Nekopara or Softcore like the Sakura Spirit titles were also popular to clickbait with. Nuxtaku was just a retard who kept that meta going for longer than others did thanks to Jewish magic or incredible laziness and mixed it with the absolute internet grooming central/poison that is discord
Most of these aren't age restricted besides Gigguk's ironic bible black review

Some people like lost pause still do clickbait thumbnails with racey art or sfw versions of porn
Again, Nux shouldnt get a pass but the anime community has had this as an issue since the boom in the mid 2010s and most of the current big creators were guilty of it

i dont really think anything kirsche has said so far is running interference. shes mentioned how retarded and bad it is to allow minors into your discord server and shes never said to my knowledge anything like "nux is innocent he never did anything wrong" i think at most shes just pointed out how biased the video about nux sounds if you start it out by attacking someone nux associates with.

things like that instantly make everything else untrustworthy because it makes it sound less like you care about exposing something fucked up and more like you just want to attack someone you personally dislike.

important matters like grooming should not be something you lead up to it should be the first thing you say along with the proof. save the going after others for the end. either way i think once she has time kirsche will say more.

she looked into tectones stuff on stream so it would be very weird if she outright ignored ever looking into the nux stuff on stream since its a pretty important thing to talk about regardless of how innocent nux is or is not. especially with discords recent interest in getting IDs from every user to try and stop children from going into 18+ servers.

Initially I was hesitant, but now I'm feeling more confident in saying that while the Nux discord situation is fucking bad (put lightly), it's serving as nothing more than a bludgeon to harass and compel behavior from those seen as political opposition.

Chimping out when met with reluctance or outright refusal to watch the video is not how you convince people to watch it, and serves only to reinforce the idea that you don't care about the issues you're bringing up in said video, but that you want to, like I said previously, use this issue as a bludgeon to harass, compel behavior from, and / or destroy those you see as your political opposition.

Yeah the nux thread is a shitshow right now, and people are shitting up the leaflit thread as well. Ironically a lot of farmers remind of the SJWs of ye olden days.
