People tell me that I'm schizophrenic for thinking Null has a girlfriend and isn't a perma-single-virgin, but you can't tell me that these posts don't sound like a woman wrote them. I agree with what he's saying on Kiwi-chan not being a generic goonerslop whore, but 33-year-old straight men just don't keep up with fashion trends like this. He clearly discussed this with his girlfriend and then typed up her thoughts. I don't want to derail the thread though, but I had to say this. "dark academia" is a kinda current year trendified version of a style that already existed I'm trying to remember the name of but I get what's being implied here look wise. I don't think it should be THAT formal but elements of it like having a jacket of similar nature could work

The harry potter thing is basically what they're pulling from with the trend name like a lot of current year terminology style shit that's formal looking. However that look has a name and it's what's escaping me right now. Like I said though I don't really think a character that's meant to be kinda a humanization of an Internet forum should be that formal, and if they are slightly formal dress wise they should also have a kind of "not quite fully put together" look for lack of a better way of putting things.

I think this might be the best design for a "Kiwi-chan" IMO. It's simple, not too busy, the hairstyle and the hair clip are obvious and recognizable nods at the website logo, while the sweater and the skirt make use of the different shades of the forum's dark theme. Best mascots are always those which are easy to recognize and easy to recreate - making her design look overly complicated will just make her look like a run-of-the-mill VTuber.
It just works.

I agree, the two recent designs from @Spectate probably best capture everything you described, plus the "cutesy" factor that's often used for website mascots. Simple is best.
