A meet would be cool, but the low average disposable income for kiwis likely precludes many folks traveling. It might be fun to do a virtual con, though. You could have events planned out over several days, with people doing streams and such mixed with synchtube events and co-op gaming. If you put out a nice schedule and promoted it well, you'd probably get a good number of people.

You could also combine it with multiple IRL meetups in various cities, with people posting pics from them and such.
 
A meet up would be cool as several people said but a whole bunch of meeting in one place doesnt seem...possible. Pine you said NYC and thats great and I would def go, but where in NYC? Other then times square, which can be insanely expensive at times, where else is there?

Realistically - NYC might not be a bad idea. I wonder if we could rent out a bar for the evening.

This is another good option too - we have a Kiwi meetup day and we all go and meet up.

Or alternatively, we pick one place but far enough in advance so people can save up. 2016 wouldn't be a bad year, as it'd be the 5th anniversary of the founding of the original forums.

So, I've seen the feedback for this idea and it's been very positive.

But, I'm thinking that we should plan this out at least a year in advance and have different simultaneous meet-ups in various locations across America and probably Great Britain or Australia if we have enough members there.

Rough draft idea for locations:
New York City
Chicago
Florida
California
Texas
Possibly:
London
Australia

For those who can't physically make it, I'm sure we could use a combination of Teamspeak, Skype and a ballpit. So, what say you all about this and where in California, Texas, Florida and Australia should we meet.
 
I would think that San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, Charlottesville, and somewhere in Florida would be givens.
 
Vegas would actually be my top pick.
