MA Ulm or EA Fomoria are probably the easiest nations to start with.

Both have very strong troops and their magic is hyper focused so it's easier to figure out what you should be doing with your mages.

Best of luck! If you need some help or tips feel free to ask. I can also draft up some pretenders if helps required. Remember, blesses only apply to holy units! So if you play a nation like say Ulm you want to aim for a mage bless because those are your only holy units. I reccomend reading their little nat descriptions, they tend to summarize them decently.

I really want to try Simulacrum to see if it's worth using. On paper it seems fine, since I would be able to use her offensively with an 80℅ chance of her reviving. This halves after every month, and she dies if she doesn't revive within a year.

I'm okay with doing the other ages if enough people don't want to play with Crossbows and Communions and speak up about it.

Edit: P.S. And whatever it is, give it like an extra day before starting, I'm sure someone else didn't have time to test if their build can make it out the gate.

I probably won't have all my shit together till Sat or Sun to start and throw stuff together anyhow, I have shit to attend to this week.
 
AI Uruk decided to throw literally everything it had at me. I managed to kill his pretender, and his central territories should be utterly defenseless. If you could get this guy off my back I would be much appreciative.

I've got a stack of theirs eyeing me up while I deal with the AI Jotun
 
Sad Jotun tapped out he was doing great for his first time tbh. Uruk was also clearly solid. Surprised he never murdered my sorry ass before going AI. Nids been a terror but thankfully I pushed him back.
 
Highly unlikely I will be able to continue playing after this weekend, so I think I'm going to bow out soon.
