Reuben G. Baron avoids answering the hard hitting questions.

Reuben G. Baron has a sister that has a fetish for the mentally handicapped and probably also an incest fetish

Reuben G. Baron lied his way into an interview and then proceeded to disrespect a man who fought for this country

Reuben G. Baron is an autistic furry (A furry is a person who has fantasies about fucking animals)

Reuben G. Baron is against laws that help keep children safe from predators

Reuben G. Baron makes fun of the mentally handicapped and supports putting them into camps (Nazi's did that too you know...)

Reuben G. Baron makes false police reports which ends up in wasting tax payer money and police time

You know Reuben, Imitation Game is about as historically accurate as Gladiator.
A well crafted narrative perhaps, one for which I enjoyed, but an outright contemporary lie none the less.
The suicide of Alan Turring is circumstantial at best.

The real Alan Turring wasn't a baby. He was figuring out biological mathematics inspired by the changes in his body from chemical castration. The man was an odd duck, but he wasn't a wimp.

he probably legitimately thought people would gloss over his shortcomings because it's not PC to make fun of his heeby stutterstein way of talking and no one in his twitter bubble cares about professionalism.
To be fair, employers aren't going to care about his speech impediment¹, especially for a writing job or really anything behind the camera. And his odd personal hobbies are also really his own private business². And who in the industry doesn't have some really laughably bad tyro piece³ in their past they'd rather forget about?

This inexplicable, foot in mouth, backfiring attempt at attack journalism⁴ to push some laughable, ill defined narrative on a subject that literally nobody in the real world cares one whit about, is a different matter entirely. It's a career killer, and for no good reason that I can see. He still hasn't answered the basic question of what he thought he was going to accomplish.
__
¹ And to be honest I really wish people here wouldn't go on and on about it either.
² Though he really should learn to be a little more circumspect about them.
³ At least it's not the Star Wars Holiday Special.
I'm only guessing that's what he thought it was, though even that's clutching at straws. He still hasn't said what he was thinking.

I normally wouldn't agree with people making fun of his speech impediment either but what he tried to do was pretty fucked up, I think ripping on him for it is at least slightly warranted in this case, he clearly didn't care about Jace and his mental illness when he tried to use him for page clicks, so why should we care about his disabilities?

The bright side is that Mr. Baron would fit in great with the other shitty journalists at Fox News.

Too bad he's a filthy liberal. MSNBC is more his speed considering that they're trying to be the left-wing Fox. Actually, I take that back, Democracy Now! is more his style.

And disrespecting Paul Walker? He's probably going to disrespect his skeleton too.

But there is no need to be petty.

Mr. Baron will learn the error of his ways all on his own soon enough. In under a year he will be graduating from comfortable academia into an unbelievably cut-throat, competitive industry. If today's work is anything to go by, he is horrifyingly ill prepared and unqualified for it even had he not taken a metaphorical coat hanger to his career today. Worse yet there are only a few ways he could dig himself out of the hole he's made this day, and I don't see him even recognizing the problem.

Really I cannot think of anything the internets could do to Mr. Baron that's worse than what he's already voluntarily done to himself.

yeah you're right, nobody deserves to be made fun of for something they have no control over, I'll make sure not to bring that up, there's much more valid reasons to be ripping on him, that shouldn't be one of them, its just one of those things where its so immediately obvious it becomes what you focus on
