Welcome to the (so far unofficial) Kiwi Farms 2026 Merch Thread. Until either an official thread goes up, or in the event that this thread becomes useful for that purpose, this is a place to talk about various merch & designs that people would like to see for the next run. Submitting art or ideas would be awesome & on topic too.

Please discuss what types of merch people are interested in, & post examples of art & designs for possible merch which can be fine tuned if need be, as time goes by & things solidify. Post ideas, designs, hopes, wishes, & dreams. Let’s get this party started early so we don’t run out of time for a merch drop later on this year. As is often the case, I’m a big fan of enamel pins with the following logos;


I’m also interested in coins, hats, shirts, all kinds of things. Looking forward to seeing others ideas, art, & designs too. Hopefully this can get the discussion off the ground & running so there will be many options everyone can get hyped over by the time starts working on the next merch sale & makes his decisions on what he’s going to do for the next merch run.
(PS: I greatly regret not being able to get the OG coin. If anyone has extras & is willing to sell me that coin, preferably as close to its OG price (yeah right, I know) or spot (feasible from a fellow kiwi of kultcha) as possible, please private message me. Thank you.)

I want more coins! I regret only buying one. I recall that on a Halloween drop there was consideration of the female population on the site, which I appreciated as we got more "kawaii" designs. I'd like to see more of that.

Some ideas I'd realistically enjoy as kiwi merch:
-Mousepad
-a "chalice" (aka just a mug, maybe designed like a boglim relic)
-Calendar
-More coins!
-Flags
-Keychain
On the "kawaii" side of things too, perler logo trinkets, stationary (think puffy stickers and pens) plushies, maybe even throw blankets?

Design ideas:
-the sites comicstrip background for throw blankets.
-Community picked "kawaii kiwi" logo for the true and honest ladies.
-anything semper fi

Other merch would be cool too. What I really want is USIPS merch, the boulder logo embroidered on a shirt or hat or something would look sick.

That’s in the direction of off topic, I clearly had a spoiler in the OP, & I don’t appreciate anyone running games on that very spoilered post script throw away line of mine. Also, way to be lame. Please make your bid war elsewhere & let’s focus on coin design now.

I’ll peek through the OG coin thread to try & find his account name. If you make an announcement about looking for the coin art guy (who so nicely vectorized the reverse of the initial coin,) or that you’re looking for someone who is good at that type of thing anew, that’d be a fairly good way to see who is around to help get it done. Any ideas on what the obverse & reverse will generally look like? Also, timeline? Would people submitting art or designs ITT be helpful?

@Null The two artists, one of whom appears to be regularly active still, are @John Furrman & the other is now going by @Non-Threatening Niall (who hasn't been seen since 2022.) Quotes below show the downlow:

I can make an absurdly high-res design in my drawing software, but I don't have, nor know how to use Adobe Illustrator. If there is another kiwi who could vectorize a design I make, I don't see how it could go awry during vectorization.

Thanks! Credit where credit's due, @friends o' niall is making it really work. Currently, friends is putting the finishing touches on the Illustrator project for the front and working out the design he made for the back of the coin. He or I will get it sent your way once it's done.

Can't sleep so made a quick and dirty sketch of an obverse. I have a couple more ideas from what you've mentioned upthread, I'll doodle them if I have time tomorrow.

During today’s MATI ep, the OG News Hamm made a comeback, and it was glorious. He was missed by many. Also, ideas were floated regarding who’s profile to feature on the 13th anniversary coin for 2026. What does everyone think about having a distinguished & dignified News Hamm as the profile art featured on the obverse?

Any iteration from the entire News Ham Family would make great merch. Either for future sales or on top of this years coin sale too. Errrbody in da klub luv da news hams.

There may already be a thread with all collected iterations of news hams, iirc, most that have been used on mati live can be found throughout the mati thread, including some that haven’t yet debuted. It’d be cool to have them all collected & showcased, including miscellaneous ham art, all in one place for easy reference & posterity. If anyone knows of a thread like this already, let it be known. (I remember seeing one a while back, probably in the Art & Lit sub forum, but can’t find it now.) Endless is the potential with this here news ham fam.
