A few hours weekly with a couple dozen people is pretty nice and relaxing.
I have to get my prescribed three hours a week of spamming sneed and nigger somewhere.

I tried joining other servers to get my feet wet before Saturday and it seems I can't. Is blocking VPN connections normal for these faggots?

theirs really no point joining other servers there mega gay and very different at this point plus kiwi station is on all the time so you can just get on and find amusing ways to get your self killed alone on the station

For a large majority of public servers yes it's extremely common for them to block VPNs (because they're extremely gay). Gonna echo what eddie durell said, just get on Riviera even if nobody else is on at the time. It's up 24/7 and you can get used to this particular codebase while becoming more familiar with the general controls etc

You can just join Riviera off-hours, it doesn't stop hosting ever. You might just have to deal with there being no power, but a broken window and a crowbar from one of the emergency lockers will get you on your way. Every other server you'd would be unrecognizeable slop anyway, except maybe VG.

I was on Riviera for a little bit getting the hang of how being a janny works but as far as learning other stuff like medicine/mechanics/etc I don't even know where to start. That being said if anyone's down to fuck around off-hours send me a DM.

Calling it /tg/ station is a misnomer, probably close to a decade ago it broke all ties with its 4chan roots and rebranded as TG, as you would imagine it's current denizens from top to bottom is a far cry from what it once was. To my knowledge the only chan space community still around is vg station but that has been in permanent deadpop for years now.
