🥝 Community Kiwi Space Station 13 Server (2024 edition) - Space Station 13

@Pod 042 Personally I would avoid assistant its a pretty boring do-nothing job unless you have a funny gimmick in mind, just pick a real job that has other players and learn from them

I've never played, but I kinda want to. What's the best way to learn?
Start as a janitor and read the gitgud Wiki at least for the fundamentals like what keys do what and such before joining today. https://gitgud.io/BallinCock/rivierastation13/-/wikis/The-Basics/How-Do-I-Do-Anything . Janitor is a simple job that lets you get familiar with the fundamentals and thrusts you into stuff to do that forces you to comprehend the basics, then you can move on to any job that you gravitate towards.

General question for the thread. For someone who hasn't played in years, is assistant the best role for coming into the server for the first time? I'm trying to refresh myself so I don't nigger it up to bad.
I'd only play assistant if you need to learn the bare bones basics of how the game runs.

Shaking off rust can be done as another low intensity job that at least has a purpose (janny, bartender)
