🥝 Community Kiwi Space Station 13 Server (2024 edition) - Space Station 13

Here's what I've been working on lately.

This is a sprite for an additional changeling horror form. Heavily inspired by a certain gunt.

90% of SS13 servers are ran by autistic tranny groomers who hyper obsess over their characters and the shitty codebases they work on or cracked out Russians who spam nigger and try to make their servers like Escape from Tarkov even though it's a pixel atmos simulator. It's nice to see one of my favorite dying games get a not so shit server after awhile. I can make sprites or code whatever funny shit you need.

Every now and then some dumbass comes up with the shittiest idea. It becomes controversial, but enough people support it because of how "ambitious" it looks. That's basically what every unnecessary change or overhaul they've made in recent history has been like.

The end result is a server where you literally die for smoking too much or eating raw meat.

Won't happen with /vg/. /vg/station users (and the thread) has a culture of not being keen on other servers shilling. They'll think your codebase is too ancient and once they see what site your server is attached to, those remaining who would give it a try wont touch your server with a ten foot pole. The fact is that most servers are just little islands that never cross pollinate. Anybody that would is probably a just a shithead that has mastered the art of ban-evading and would probably just kill everyone/ find ways to destroy the station completely.

The fact is that the active players of SS13 are losers and they stick to a certain server because of the parasocial relationships they develop in the dedicated Discord. Our best bet is recruiting people that have given up on the game. This doesn't include ban evaders.
 
The idea was to steal disaffected people out of ban appeal threads by PMing them, since indeed promotion is illegal on pretty much every server. Its likely to be kindof marginal gains so its not a priority. Chill out dudes.

I think that's was part of what killed the original station, we didn't pull in the old based dissatisfied fans from the 4chan servers. They've all either moved on or cut their cocks off. We got all the shitters, trolls, and haters that wanted to ruin having a cozy server.

Why does Null put cytube on the front page the moment it goes live? We practically had to beg for just a feature, but the moviefags get a free blob.
 
Next session in about 30m (4pm EST).

Was not able to finish my contract system in time for today, only new stuff since last update is I converted the mining shuttle to my new shuttle system and fixed a weird 515 migration bug that I found on accident whilst testing other things. Will drop the contract system all at once in a more complete form sometime in the future.
