1. Will rearranging and organizing the texture files fuck everything up?

Do you mean moving them around into different folders? If so it's likely that will mess up some references in certain parts of the code which you would need to correct in said code so it could reference the correct location when it needs the texture.

If you mean editing the .dmi directly (since they are kindof sortof a giant PNG) yes that will wreck them unless you do it via DreamMaker

As far as I can tell plasma men are not in the game at all unless they're buried somewhere in the texture files

I'll have to mess around with dream and maker then and see if I can't reorganize them within the system

I'm too spoiled by modern SS13 codebases. While I miss the kino of the past, I can't fucking stand how laggy the game is. (But I will endure, if I can ever catch a play session)

Ideaguy suggestion: If you're doing some whitelist thing, don't prevent unwhitelisted users from joining. Make it so they can play on the server as a ghost role stuck in space (maybe some z level thing with a small shitty space station) or only as an observer/sentient animal.

It actually has a lot more features (ones that actually matter too) than the modern servers. Stuff like airlock controllers and guest passes that make HoP's life easier. Other servers like VG and TG can't even get basic shit right like the mulebots.
