My brothers, I would like to come back and discuss more about the trannification of SS13 and why it happened.
Anyone well versed in troondom knows what Autogynephilia is and doesn't need that explanation for well seasoned transphobes - but I'll elaborate more.
Before delving into the specifics, it is essential to understand the concept of autogynephilia. Autogynephiles are a form of faggot degenerate - they are autosexuals, a form of erotic target location error where an individual is sexually attracted to themselves, in straight men - this is the idea of being a woman. Other people are merely a prop in the self-made porno they make in their minds where they are the main star - it is inherently narcissistic. AGP has other parallels to many other mental disorders, such as autozoophilia (furries, zoophiles, catgirls), autopedophila (noticed in lolicons and ABDLs), and autovorarephilia (aka cannabalism/vore). This is also why they tend to focus on boosting their own specific "OC" they are proud of.
Of course, anyone knows this is linked to excessive and unrelenting porn consumption, which autogynephiles (who tend to be shut-in autistic men) tend to consume. But - why SS13?
Space Station 13 has been overrun with autogynephiles because it has introduced ERP which is nectar to these types, they also tend to be autistic - meaning they have an over-representation of coders, spriters and maintainers. This gives them numbers and advantage where it counts most, particularly in server hosting. A lot of furries come from furaffinity where their roleplay text paragraphing sklls are high, often making them notable respected community figures in roleplay servers, and an easier time getting moderator powers (we know where this leads).
SS13 becoming a roleplay medium with more character customization gave furries the ability to play as themselves, this was first noted in self-inserts (particularly femstatics) came into play around 2008 during the emergence of heavy roleplay servers, and the addition of species this gave furries the ability to play as their doggo self inserts. Sub-cultures began to form in heavy roleplaying communities, particularly in the form of lesbian roleplaying for the regular AGPs, and species/vore roleplaying for furries, this pushed out the "normal" roleplayers who were genuinely there to try form some kind of actual roleplaying community let alone a normaler LRP community and took form as the culture we have today.
AGPs use their auto-cooming not only as fetish, but as a way of extracting this valuable resource called "gender euphoria", which usually results in an erection. Playing as what you envision yourself as, causes immense physical arousal in these subjects. During the covid-19 pandemic, many lonely autists were depressed and fell to excessive porn addiction, many trooned out - amplifying the porn server issue. They now dominate the hub.
Now, the solution to such disorders would obviously be to make your own servers and not allow the troons and furries in, however the /tg/station staff dealt a blow on the humble spessman by:
1. Having the most maintainers out of all servers, thus having the most features and updates competitively (which they are now ironically, removing)
2. And pressurizing all downstream codebases to go open source, thus no one is safe from furry forks
3. This caused bay (a dying codebase that often ports from TG to survive) to also go open source
This presents an issue with anyone attempting to make a non-furry server, nearly everyone has code they are forced to go open source with - and this is dictated by license which will gain a lawsuit if not complied. Any servers that can competitively compete with AGP-friendly servers WILL be forked, cloned, copied, diced and ported until everything is cannibalized into the big top hub servers. This has kept them on top.
A server needs to be closed source, top of the hub, and competitively maintained in order to reverse the damage of SS13. Additionally, a new influx of players from non-degenerate sources is necessary to revitalize the community.
