Should the nigger race start with some sort of disease at round start?
If anything it should be disease-ridden mice (a minor antag) and catbeasts (since they haven't been reworked into antags, all of them should share a single disease per round that's guaranteed to not be very robust).

feel free to fix it. i rather like maint but you could map up the glass and hook it up to a switch and id accept it. i dont really want robotics to depend on the RND computer anymore though, would rather the machines self sync. circuit printer was also cheating and buck broke RND who might otherwise want to make money
Head and tail are solid gibs but the torso bits arent tbh. maybe just have like some little arms and legs severed? Dead squirrel doesnt work imo, the little bone is weird, maybe just make it bloodier?

Saar they're one department and literally neighboring rooms - departmental workers should have trades made with outsiders (Science trades with Cargo - R&D sells mining upgrades, Robotics sells Ripleys - and vice versa - eggheads buy materials), not with each other because it just cucks the receivers out of their job if they can't afford it (not enough money for 3 Gygax circuits, $150 each? Lol guess no mech for you today, and I dare you to break in and try to print them yourself since I'll just laser you to death with the AEG I just researched). It's the same issue as making Chefs buy plants from Botanists he needs to make literally any food instead of them just sharing their neighboring spaces and selling the food made with joint effort to the rest of the crew.

It wouldn't be a terrible idea to make a generic "grey" version that's colored in definitions, if the only change is color, either using overlays or whole sprite coloring. BYOND is competent at after effects like that now. Nests could also be colored to correspond to the species.
Maybe this has been forgotten, but as feature suggestion, could you implement the Traitor codewords and responses to be colored as red and blue?
Like when other traitors hear it? Thats an interesting idea, hear_say exists specifically to change messages based on who is listening (to mangle languages you dont know, for instance) so I think its definitely possible
