Hey, I've been thinking about this for a while and I decided to make a thread to see if anyone else is interested. What I'm thinking about is creating a Kiwi gaming group where we meet up online once a week or so and play a oneshot game during movie night. I have a few ideas for games to run, if anyone's interested.

I'd be interested in a stable group myself, though almost half my week is taken up with other games

Also, the only systems i really know are Cyberpunk 2020, Rogue Trader, and pathfinder. I would include Earthdawn in there but damn its been far far too long

I know Pathfinder pretty well, and I have some familiarity with Rogue Trader.
However, I was thinking of running a GURPS oneshot based on a "primative fantasy" world. Essentially a fantasy world, but set in stone age times instead of middle ages time.

GURPs, i think i almost played that game before. its that really modular system isnt it? I think i ended up making a spess otaku who was into /x/ shit and thought he was a wizard, but that game petered out before it ever began

Yeah. GURPS can be stupidly complex if the GM doesn't know what he's doing, but it's also really modular and can be used to run anything. You just need to pick what rules apply to your setting, instead of throwing everything in.

yeah, dude sounded like he knew what he was doing, but he kinda just fucked off, really. but thats a story for another thread.

Eh, I'd consider it. Looks like the only game experience I have in common is Pathfinder though.

I'm gonna make a PM for this, if you're interested in getting added to it just ask me here.

I'd be up for that. I know PF enough I think. Maybe.

I think I tried making a professor in GURPS for the one game someone suggested to mock the fellow who hated Barney (which ended up not happening.)

For the record, the professor ended up as a medic with Wolverine-esque healing factors.

Still have the generator + books...I hope. If not, and we're using GURPS I'd need 'em again.

I've also played FATE, 5E, 4E and a little of 3.5. Plus Tenra Bansho Zero, but I'd rather not talk about that one. Paranoia too.

I MADE a character for Rogue Trader years ago, but never actually played. I think I almost died in character creation (unless it was that other space travel game)

I've always wanted to play CALL OF CTHULU.

Heavily debating this, and have experience across the board. But don't count me in yet.

I have a little previous experience irl, and I'd be interested in joining a group. The main problem is the time difference. Let me see if it works.
