Sanagochi
Owner Fruit Land
佐那河内村果樹オーナー園

I misspelled "kiwifarms.net" once, instead entering "kiwifarm.net". This caused me to discover Sanagochi Owner Fruit Land, a kiwifruit farm in Japan's Tokushima prefecture. As the name suggests, Sanagochi Owner Fruit Land is located in Sanagochi village, an agricultural village known for fruit.

They grow kiwifruits and sell them in Japan. They also give tours and invite people over to fish in the garden river every year, a tradition which was suspended from 2017 until mid 2025.

They also provide some recipes they prepare.

I thought this was of note. If there are any nip users who've been here tell me what you think.

Kiwi Cocktails... I did kiwi caipirinhas on a bar i worked, they had them on the menu, it's the bomb

Such an underrated fruit for cocktails

I'm a little suspicious of the addition of Kombu... Usually free glutamates don't mesh well with sweet things. I kind of am interested in trying macerating kiwi with sugar and using that for something though.

Caipirinha is just that, with the main ingredient being cachaça. But it may be not readily available for you though, so you swap with vodka, we call it a caipivodka, and can be done with all sort of fruits including kiwi

Get a short glass:

>peeled kiwi in quarters or eights
>botton of the glass
>add two teaspoons of sugar
>macerate
>ice
>booze goes in, 50ml is ideal serving as in most menus

Now, when mixing this, you don't do it in a circular motion as you were stirring a cup of coffee with sugar. Instead you make up and down motions as if scooping the content while rotating the glass with your hand, this is because you are at the same time mixing the drink and setting the ingredients in a aesthetic pleasing way

You can top with crushed ice, or regular cubes. I like crushed ice, because i can drop a few drops of Angostura, but it's really a matter of taste as some people don't enjoy bitters. If you do i recommend the orange one

This is how it should look like

So you typed in 'kiwifarm' and you got a kiwi farm. The wacky internet rabbitholes we go down!

Those look quite pleasing. I don't know this place but I know from my mum that Asian kiwis are sweeter, less acidic, and softer, so if you've got regular ones at home, maybe add a tiny few drops of lemon juice to them.
