Inspired by @JambledUpWords' thread from 2019. Post gift ideas here.
Jambled's original list:
  • For people that like to cook/eat good food: gourmet sauces, oils and vinegars are a fun and useful gift
  • If you have the skill and supplies, watercolor paintings are always cool to give
  • If you have an artsy friend, ask them what art supplies are their favorite and give those
  • If you know someone that likes experiences and it’s someone you’re close to, concert/movie tickets can be fun
  • If there’s someone who has about everything, make them a homemade gift such as fudge or cookies
Here's a long cat to get us started:

Can someone provide gift ideas that are cheap but not complete shit? I have several friends and family to shop for, but I'm trying to save money.

I'm trying to keep it under $10 each. Best idea I have so far is a nice throw blanket, but I can't buy everyone that.

We actually discussed this in chat but anything Warner Brothers, like, old Bugs Bunny cartoons are great as gifts. Everybody can appreciate the comedy. If they dont like it, then it's good for the kids.

Some of you guys can probably get every single episode on a thumb drive. But they also sell DVD sets if you are into presentation. ORRRR.....you can give them a big box expecting such a gift, but giving them a thumb drive instead and save about half a hundred.

Also consider hand made things. Keep your empty spaghetti jars and get some wax flakes and wicks from hobby lobby and make a candle, it's easy. Picture frames and photo albums are also good gifts. If you wanna give a gift for cooking, a fondue pot is excellent, or an electric stove. Camping supplies are fun also, and/or prepper stuff.

For my kids birthday I got her a portable Bluetooth thermal printer, she was absolutely thrilled with it. Phomemo brand if I remember correctly, it prints like receipt paper and you can load sticker paper rolls into it along with regular. Only drawback is that it is only black and white. But that means they can color whatever they print themselves.

For men, power tools
I'll add to this. If they're heavily invested into a battery system (they have a lot of X tool brand), get them a power tool of the same system. If they're not, or they have shit battery tools, get them Milwaukee. Honestly, even if they're invested in a system I'd say get them Milly anyway. They're that good.
If power tools aren't in the budget, hand tools are good as well. If you want to do it "on the cheap", duralast tools are basically budget snapon. Made by the same people.
It helps if you know about a job they're doing or want to do. I would say most men grow their tool chest not by buying random tools, but by needing them.

Thank you for bringing that up, I should have said it myself. I have bought my husband nothing but dewalt tools for years, it makes things so much simpler. And also have paid attention to make sure each of them have interchangeable batteries if possible. And yes, ask your man what projects he's thinking about doing. He'll know what he wants.

It really depends on what they want. You can go to places like Wal-Mart, hobby lobby, Michaels and find really cute knick knacks for less than $10. Or go to goodwill or a pawn shop and find surprisingly good things if you're lucky. I've always enjoyed going to antique stores, it's crazy the amazing stuff you can find in those if you are willing to spend enough time browsing. Board/card games are also something to consider. Good luck!

The first thing that comes to mind is a keepsake of some sort that is related to their interest(s). A nice keychain, desk decoration, etc. Something inoffensive but makes it look like you thought about it a bit. Or went the obvious route, damned if you do or don't kind of thing.

If they drink, I would say a nice bottle of beer, or a six pack sampler. A lot of people just buy coors etc and have never spent actual money on beer. It's hard to go wrong with this imo. If they hate some or all of the beer you buy, it's still an experience and they get to try it and not pay for it. Plus it can be shared as a flight or something.

I suppose you could use that on other things as well. Something they like but cheap out on, buy the premium version of that.
If they smoke, a 10 dollar cigar isn't expensive but it's not cheap either. (I'm sure a cigar fag will correct me, but I've seen many cigars well under 10). A new pipe tobacco would be cool too. You could get a corn cob pipe and a small pouch of tobacco for 10 I think. Maybe a bit more.

A nice mug is a fun gift. I don't mean some pos with their name printed on it, but something cool and or distinct.

If they don't drink alcohol, micro-brew sodas are a thing and can be pricey. 10 bucks will goes a long way and again, it's something new to try.

If they're into cars, a nice detailer would be a good gift, or detailing supplies. These are all pretty pricey, but you could get them a bottle of chemical guys something or other for 10-15.

Really, it all comes down to "buy premium version of cheap thing that is still cheap".

Personally I have every tool I need and if I need another one I just go and buy it. This pretty well applies to anything else. I'm an adult and if I need something I just go and buy it. If I want something reasonable I just go and buy it also. Anything on my want list is something too big of a purchase to ask for as a gift. Wrap yourself up in a bow and wake your man up with a blow job on Christmas day. You wanting him is a bigger gift than anything else on his want list.

Good point, I forgot to mention that. Frankly, as gay as it sounds, attention is a nice gift. I don't mean the super clingy weirdo attention but actually wanting him, being with him etc is a way bigger thing. We can provide our own stuff, but something that is meaningful is much better.

My ex bought me a cheap wallet, but it was tradition to give the man a wallet every Christmas with 20 bucks in it. It was a garbage wallet and I hated it compared to my nice wallet. But, it meant the world to me and I loved using it. I miss using that shitty wallet.

Men don't need to be provided for, we already provide. But Milwaukee tools are always welcome.

There's more to life than sex and degeneracy. I'm married to him so he already has me. Despite popular opinion, a man does appreciate when a woman pays attention to things that he also has an interest in besides blow jobs. Stop watching porn.
