KiwiFlare

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Kiwiflare is making site load times become extremely long even when it's refreshing the page you are currently on.
Then it somehow keeps screwing up the site's formatting or refuses to finish loading until I restart the browser.

It also loves to give a ton of false "couldn't connect" redirects even when refreshing the page you are currently on.

Clearnet performance is usable but not great. Images and other content frequently fail to load properly, requiring a refresh. That being said, it's better than the entire site being taken down due to the constant attacks.

If the clearnet is getting ddosed right now, KiwiFlare is working really well, if it's not, then there's some other issue going on with the site. I'm sure Null is probably aware of this but I'd just thought I'd post my most recent experience.

I'm not sure if this is related or not, but I can't change out of the stealth theme, making my eyes BLEED.
Previously, logging into Tor and selecting a new theme there will cause the theme to change in clearnet (.pl). I was able to do this. I haven't confirmed recently if that is still the case but it probably is.

I just assume that’s the result of the DDoSing, however I’m very impressed with how the site is still readable, and yeah when your trying to post, it might not work the first time. I usually just come back 30 min later and it works smoothly. When the site’s getting hammered that hard, things won’t be smooth all the time.

If you are using a VPN (plz do) and it starts lagging hard. I recommend switching to a different region (what I use allows me to seamlessly switch regions without leaking anything) and then refresh the current page your on, or follow a link that hasn’t fully loaded and that helps immensely.

Clearnet seems to be unstable recently, and there's the new "This site requires cookie to operate" error that keeps popping up when I try to sign in. Took many tries before I could actually get in.

I've been noticing a little more slowness than normal today, not enough for it to bother me but videos longer than a minute have been a bit of a churn

Overall site's been great the last week or so, thanks jersh!

502 Error and "client returned an error" when routing through Hong Kong or China Unicom/Telecom 80% of the time.
Vietnam somehow works so???????

Getting lots of 502s and poor performance, with some pages requiring multiple refreshes to load correctly. As of right now, it's about the same performance as Tor.

Are the troons back to their old MO of cranking up the DDoS attacks at around 23:00 UTC?

Over the last week or so, I've notices it's around this time of day when "Page not found" errors seem to spike way higher than their usual ambient level, with the odd 502 thrown in for good measure.

It usually settles down around 01:00 UTC.

Clearnet has issues loading attachments. Every so often, pages won't load, or they'll load incorrectly.

Still, it's better than being forced onto the darknet.
