KiwiFlare

I did notice yesterday, that my retard-proofing errored the first time. I thought to myself "I wonder if the site is under attack". A few minutes later, refreshed and grabbed my kiwi-token for the day and resumed standard operations. Amazing to hear that it's been a much more sustained action and went unnoticed as a user.

Did get the 403 this morning before the permission update, but no other errors.

no clue what buggy or shite means. I need real words.
Random crashes, refusing to load various different media files, slow, won't let you type, either doesn't respond to the keyboard at all or enters the letters in the wrong order, missing artifacts, freezing, refusing to allow me to click on anything... if it were just on my computer I'd put it down to the computer, but as I said, I'm using it across two separate devices. My mobile also is on a different network and provider to my internet provider. The two browsers on each device aren't linked either, I use a Mozilla id on my computer but I have never put it into my phone. Additionally, while Firefox does have a number of mods in my computer, the version in my hand is only modified when Mozilla updates. So yeah, there's that.

429’s pretty consistently on mobile browser connected to xFinity wifi. They are coming and going in waves every 5 minutes or so.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been getting the odd 429 about once a day for since Kiwiflare launched, just this morning has it become noticeably disruptive.

I was one of the people getting so many 429s the site was unusable at times yestserday. I've had no issues today going through my alerts. It only proced the 429 once when i opened another tab and immediately cleared itself after kiwiflaring me again. This has been normal behavior for the site for me since kiwiflare started so that is not an oddity on my end.

At the moment hte chat is 429, but I do not use the chat so that is fine. Just stating it in case others bring the issue up.

So tranny seething caused you to design your own ddos protection that after a bit of fine tuning is doing better than cloudflare (a $19 billion company) was doing before they bent the knee.

What does anyone actually do in tech? Everytime we lose some bloated corporation it is replaced by 1 determined null doing a better job.

How many hundreds of thousands of troonbux have been blown on these ultimately ineffectual attacks?
Compared to the cost spent mitigating them it's effectively zero, which is why they're such a PITA to deal with. On the plus side Null's infra gets more battle hardened and he'll fetch a higher price if he ever decided to share his expertise.

We've been under near-constant D/DoS attacks for the last few days. The system has mostly been able to handle it with some config tweaks, but the net was cast too wide, which was causing 429 errors. I've identified the problem and you should no longer see 429 errors.

Just now, I applied a small update to the KiwiFlare which should have a big change. I believe I have improved the system's ability to handle concurrency. I had observed that the CPUs were not pegged (meaning, they were well below 100% utilization), but there was another bottleneck, which I believe was poor concurrency causing all 48 cores to block when receiving thousands of requests a second.

In my local tests, I had previously been able to cause DDoS loads of 30,000+ requests before seeing issues. However, with the new improvement, I was not able to reproduce the issue with any number of requests before being bottlenecked by socket counts.

Edit: There's a very heavy attack that I'm using to experiment with config options.

Please report if you receive an Error 403, or Error 429, while using the website.
I need to know if you are using a VPN or public network as well. If you are using a VPN, please say which one.
Disgusting troon fetishes will come and go, but Rome is forever.

Not getting the 429s today but what I do find is the kiwiflare page comes up when loading a thread, and all seems fine, but when trying to reply or even like a post I usually get “oops, an error occurred”. Then it’s stuck until you refresh again.
VPN to wherever seems to work, and phone browsing.

Only problem I've had is chat constantly refreshing itself. Using the forum itself I've had no issues.

I can’t do much of anything right now. Chat gave me a 429 error about a half hour ago (6:15am EST), tapping on ‘contact’/insert photo/insert quote/@ anyone gives an “Oops we ran into some problems” error.

I’m running Firefox mobile on Verizon FiOS, VPN is off.

The site itself loads but chat returns a 429 error:

No VPN, Clearnet, Brave browser.

Not troonbux. Tax payer bux.

You can bet your ass these freaks live on welfare just like the legendary anti-work reddit mod on Fox News.
So long as they receive any kind of social aid, they will always dedicate part of it to attacking this website until their tugboat runs out, the zeitgeist changes or the website actually falls.

Frankly, I am amazed Null didn't had a hitjob on him yet.

They have pull on banks, paypal, all relevant social media, cloudflare and FUCKING TIER 1 PROVIDERS!
You'd think that showing his face online would be enough for full scale weaponized autism to get him doxxed by now.

I get some 429 errors if I'm on mobile on my home network, disconnecting from my home network to use cell data fixed the issue.
Sometimes I get 429 using Nord.
Occasional error checking notifications.

Overall everything is working well

Tor/onion seems unaffected just slower from time to time.
