KiwiFlare

Kiwiflare is firing up on every single page load on my iPad. I’m on Brave, iOS 15.6. Cannot quote nor sticker anyone. No problems on anything else I use, including my phone.

I don't know much about web development, but for what it's worth, my iPad only has 3GB of RAM, whereas everything else I use has no less than 8GB.
Still happening to me as well. iOS, Safari.
Yes, this comment was a PITA to post because I had to play reload lottery.

Please report if you receive an Error 403, or Error 429, while using the website.
I need to know if you are using a VPN or public network as well. If you are using a VPN, please say which one.
Tried to open Sneedchat in a seperate tab and got an Error 429. Interestingly, the error seems to only apply to Sneedchat as I could still click on new pages and use the site normally otherwise, which I hadn't been able to do in previous instances. Refreshing after a minute or two took care of it.

Using Brave, not on a public network and not using a VPN.

Just got a 429 error on the chat box at the top of the page. Threads are loading fast, though. Using ProtonVPN.

I do love how the near-constant attacks are just making the website stronger because we get to quickly see which does/doesn't work - and all without the support of giant networks like Cloudflare. I do get errors occasionally where the website displays but I have to refresh the page because I am otherwise unable to interact with it, but otherwise, KiwiFlare is working marvelously.

You're doing a kick-ass job, Null.

I got the 429 errors when loading multiple tabs at the start of the day, for the last 3 days (desktop, with VPN). Then after a few hours, I would get stuck on the Kiwiflare page, and it would never complete the proof of work. Reloading or new tab didn't work. Next morning reloading would work as normal.

It seems to be working better today, I'll see if I can replicate the semi-permanent hang.

We've been under near-constant D/DoS attacks for the last few days. The system has mostly been able to handle it with some config tweaks, but the net was cast too wide, which was causing 429 errors. I've identified the problem and you should no longer see 429 errors.
Thank the fucking heavens. I actually haven't noticed any performance slowdown, but the 429 errors have been non-stop. I can hardly load up a thread without getting one and having to change my VPN server. I'd bitch harder but ultimately it's the fault of the troon squad that we need to deal with them. They're a necessary evil.

Thanks for all you do, Null.

I really would love to know what exactly the purpose of these random DDOS attacks is given that they have never resulted in some tranny's perversions being scrubbed from the web. I imagine that the trannies think about them about as much as a cat thinks about dragging a dead rat up to your back door for you to see.

Most of the time when I get an error is just kiwifarms not connecting to my side, but I haven't got the mentioned errors yet. It's crazy how often it can happen too, are people really that mad we just have our own space to discuss things more maturely?
