I didn't think about it at first, but now I'm looking into it. I completely buy into the idea of him faking this email. I went to go into old emails of me requesting bodycam footage of lolcows, and every single one I've received has contact information to the person I'm responding too. Another thing that threw me off was the shit grammar in the email. I'm not one to shit talk someone's spelling/grammar, but the email comes off as not professional. I could be looking too deep into it, but I don't put it past them to fake emails for Internet clout.

But if they kill the pedophile they are covering, they will lose their paypiggy. They would have to create another lolcow or pedophile from their own community and act all shocked that they were right under their nose. When in actuality they were aware of their behavior all this time but kept them around because they played a valuable role in their sphere of their community.

I agree, I've never seen an email from a police department that was this unprofessional. This is fake without a doubt in my mind.

I've been following this drama and the video is rather mediocre. It's obvious that he just read a few reddit posts, made a list of some of the most basic and superficial controversies, and posted it without putting an inch of effort into it. It's also very evident that some topics, especially anything related to gaming, are outside his "field of expertise", and he only mentioned it because it was part of the drama, not because he fully understood the controversies behind it.

To be fair tho, the video was requested by his viewers. There were some comments on his Lolcow Wrestling lives about it so it's pretty much "what you guys wanted". I don't think he would have covered Mald (or anything gaming related) if his viewers hadn't asked, just as he didn't cover Karl Jobst and Billy Mitchel when it was revealed he lost the case, or when he filled for bankruptcy.

His name is Sack, and I am confident that he is a member of Nick Nobody's community. I recall seeing him in several of Nick's livestreams, and Nick even replied to multiple of his comments. But I am unable to find any archives. Does anyone here know if archives of Nick's streams exist? I mean they have to, considering how often he used to go live.

I wondered this too - I was actually quite a fan of BasedShaman. His videos were really funny and he had a cool voice that was nice to listen to. The last I saw of him, he was making sort of positive, inspiring ASMR videos, but I don't know how well those went down with his audience. If they just wanted more Cyraxx slop, and he wanted to do something a bit more uplifting, I can imagine him maybe feeling burnt out and thinking, "These people don't care, fuck this shit, I'm out."

I recall him also mentioning that he wanted to become a cop, and you can't really be a public figure with stuff like that all over the Internet, so maybe he's just gone away to have a normal life. I hope so, anyway. It just seems kind of out of character for him to just up and leave and delete everything with no announcement or anything, especially considering he had a Patreon, channel members, he was on Fiverr, etc.

I do have a tinfoil hat theory, but it's admittedly very tinfoil hat...
He did a video about Wes Watson, which he then later deleted, seemingly for no reason (which was a shame, because it was quite a funny video). Now his whole channel and socials have been deleted, again, for seemingly no reason. Did Wes Watson have something to do with it?

I don't really even consider BasedShaman a troll - he always gave people the benefit of the doubt (except for truly heinous individuals like Randy Stair and Chris post-The Barbening). I used to love his Sonichu readings, where he did all the voices of the characters. I'll miss those.
