Honestly I'm glad kiwitapes exists. His absolute fucking dogshit commentary and inability to laugh at the fucking LOLcow is kinda why I came here in the first place. There's basically no reason to ever listen to any of these guys, there is no situation where highlight hopping isn't the exact same thing but with the jokes left in, even if it does miss half the good posts. It doesn't even make good background videos half the time because more often than not they don't know how to properly audio balance their shit and think that just because the db levels are constant it's ok, despite the subject's voice being much higher pitched and shrill so still being too loud even at the same db level.

Idk if it really counts because it's not exactly lolcow content other than the already super famous deathfats, but there's a guy called big craig who does pretty much the same type of content as these guys but for fattivism, just with a touch less grandstanding and actually makes good background content. He does seem pretty inspired by the whole lolcow genre in terms of editing and such, just remove the 20% grandstanding from kiwitapes and replace it with buzzfeed listicle structuring kinda. Better than half the people here but still kinda sloppy you feel?

I used to be whatever about crediting the farms until I thought about the Kiwis who have to sort through massive archives just to share info. The time that takes, censoring potential illegal material like in the Goonclown discord leaks. It's not that hard to give them the credit. I don't think these YouTubers realize how much traumatizing shit some farmers sift through just to report on horror cows. It's more thankless than a social media janny's job because a kiwi does it for free.
