There has been a growing pool of evidence of numerous conflicts of interest with journalists and developers exchanging gifts, financially supporting each other, and even participating in romantic flings. This has resulted in favorable treatment given to certain developers at the expense of developers who do not bribe and sleep with journalists.

COLLUSION
On 28 Aug, articles simultaneously came out from ten different publications dismissing gamers as immature misogynist men. Since then, evidence has emerged that game journalists have colluded behind the scenes in order to shape and spin stories.

Knew it was only a matter of time. I used to be pretty involved because, well, i had long hours at work and nothing to do so i went there cause it was kinda fun. Now I'm here.

Maybe it started as something good and wholesome but man did it turn to shit real quick.

More or less, the pro-side of GamerGate has it's own autist just like the anti-side and just as the anti's have SJW's, so too would the pro side have the anti-SJW's that would end up being on the other end of the horseshoe.

If it was 2014, one would expect a pro-GamerGate sounding thread where @Jaimas makes long post, some kiwi's lean a bit to either side (or just laughing at both all together), and Lord_RainbowDash/Wulfington being an autist (especially in the Sonic Boom thread).

Not only would one need a new hobby, one shouldn't really think SJW's are going to take them away. Sure one can mention the last Dead or Alive game not getting an official release outside of import but even then, there would be other factors than dangerhairs getting upset over polygonal tits such as basing the release on how well the last game sold in the States (which iirc, wasn't good).

In all seriousness though, this thread was bound to happen since they did have their own displays as autism that would make them stand out compared to more general autist in GamerGate. Even if they would claim to be for better journalism in gaming, gaming journalism is more or less a joke and the boat for ethics either sailed or sank long ago.
