I looked at a few of his videos, with audio off, and I saw about nine static pictures of his dragon character that he cycles through while talking. Either that or hes playing overwatch while talking. Why doesn't he put on a dragon fursuit and talk? Wouldn't that make more sense? And he talks about bullshit. This sucks. His whole channel sucks.

There's at least one video where he films himself opening up fanmail while being super awkward but I'd guess he feels a need to constantly justify commissioning those static reaction shots of his slender blue dragon character while being angry fatty IRL. Also, because it's a really big hook for his channel there's no need to ever shuffle the formula around since it just works™ and never gets stale.
Fursuits aren't cheap as well and those katanas and maple syrup bottles won't buy themselves, yo.
If Kothorix could just inject the tiniest amount of self-awareness into his personality and work on improving his scripts he'd come off as a bit more "tolerable" but seeing how he's been on youtube for a while now and making payton-bux off his awful content it's not gonna happen anytime soon, if ever.
It's kind of stupid how it's become a gold-standard with a lot of furry YouTubers nowadays to have those shots of their OC being on-screen during the whole video and reacting to stuff in order to boost production quality or whatever, originally it was meant to be used as a sideshow to make it easier to convey a point to an audience. But since furries love taking concepts that are convenient for others in order to be as lazy as possible themselves, it got ran into the ground and milked dry.
It's only a matter of time before someone figures out how to use the puppeteer tool in After Effects and then start a new era of Jasonafex type characters that jigglebones around in 60 FPS for ~30 minutes or more.

Honestly I don't know if fursuits go big enough for him.
I probably sound mad on the internet by continuing to say this but even if he upped his production values and scripts tenfold it would be damn near impossible for him to move past the things he's defended in the past.

I know a couple of furs who do 3D modelling and rendering, and a "fully rigged" FaceRig character is something that they normally charge about the same price as someone who makes a really good fursuit. So we're looking at the ballpark of around $2,000, plus or minus a few hundred dollars depending on details and features.
You think Kothorix and his ilk have $2,000 just sitting around that they can afford to drop on something that they can't even parade around at a convention for attention?

But utilizing Fiverr would mean being smart with money and this is furries we're talking about here. If it's not a fandom approved artist then it doesn't exist or probably would cost a fuckton, lol.
