His basic argument is that it would increase jobs because companies mass produce products in third world countries and employ child labor in those countries to do it. And that you can stop gangs by forcing children to work. And that employing under 18 year olds would reduce the unemployment rate. Not realizing that unemployment rate doesn't count people under 18, they're excluded from the survey. He also claims that children losing their limbs in industrial accidents wouldn't be a big deal because robotic limbs might become a thing in the future. He doesn't really touch upon actual reasons why child employment isn't used in the west like it leading to widespread illiteracy and under educated youths. Something that does occur in third world countries and was the norm in the west until schooling became mandatory. Overwhelmingly the main reason why they use children in third world countries is strictly to exploit them for labor since they're really easy to manipulate and bully physically into doing jobs adults don't want to do.Why We Should Bring Back Child Labor

Holy shit. I had never watched or listened to his videos before, but this one had me laughing. Mostly at his expense. I think what did it for me was his tone of voice and how serious about it he sounds. The weird part is I understand and to some extent agree with him on some of this stuff, but something about his delivery makes it laughable. Here, let me list the points I agree with:

The “why are taking jobs from American kids and exporting them to Chinese kids” and robotic arm replacement bits makes me think this is his attempt at A Modest Proposal. Especially the robotic limbs part, which is clearly a troll solution to an issue that has already largely been solved with things like lockout-tagout systems. The difference is that Kothrix is an edgy autistic furry and not a classic satirist. Even if if its just satire people are gonna take it seriously as they know him as the pedo defender who makes edgy videos.
