In this case it's more like talking about fucking hundreds of ladies without proof while having fucked multiple goats, funded porn made with goats, administrated a goatfucking forum, and then getting really outraged when people call you a goatfucker.

Seriously? "Anyone that accuses me of being a pedophile is a pedophile"? Just... straight out? Completely without qualification or shame?

Honestly I'm rating @CatParty :winner: mostly for that masterful lead-in. That first pair of tweets actually got me thinking "Wow he's posting something actually sensible, even if it is a hypocritical lie" and then bam.

One of my favorite films for a while was the version of "Count of Monte Cristo" that starred (among others) Richard Chamberlain and Tony Curtis.

Curtis' character is accused of having betrayed a king and sold the king's wife and daughter into slavery. In his defense, he continually brings up his many decorations from war, and cites a letter "from the Ali Pasha himself!" that expresses confidence in him and entrusts him with guardianship of the woman and girl--and oh, he tried to find and save them, but they were already dead, what a pity. Obviously, it's proven he's guilty as charged.

This is relevant because Eichenwald's constant reference to his heroics and this letter from "one of the children I rescued, himself!" strikes me the same way. I even hear his protestations in Curtis' overdramatic delivery.
