How anyone takes Eichenwald seriously at this point is beyond me. He's an obvious liar and a terrible one at that.
His whole "I was trying to find tentacle porn to show my disbelieving wife but couldn't find any" bullshit is the most obvious example.
He's supposed to be an "Investigative Journalist" and he couldn't find the abundant tentacle porn out there but somehow manages to find a piece of incredibly obscure fetish hentai? Not buying it and the explanation is an outright insult to the intelligence of anyone reading it.
I mean, an ethical man would just fess the fuck up and admit to having a fap to the cartoons. An unethical man would dig deeper.

I think his only tactic at this point is to tweet and blog and make enough noise so that it buries all the other shit and people eventually forget. His Wikipedia page should have a robust "controversies" section but he's created enough fog around him people lose track of his many embarrassments and misdeeds.
Same way the media keeps up with this "everything we don't like is Russian Bots" to cast doubt on grassroots support of things they're against. Really, there's no greater plea for attention and sympathy than "I am constantly attacked and threatened by people and robots, but I also block them and Twitter deletes them right away so there's no evidence." Nobody even looks into these claims because it would mean sorting through hundreds if not thousands of public replies. At this point I just assume anybody who ever says that is full of shit.

Some people just crave the social validation they feel twitter will bring them. Honestly, Kurt give me major Stephen Glass vibes in that he is perfectly fine lying and making shit up in order to make him look like some sort of ace reporter.
I love that he's just given up on pretending he's never insulted Kyle. By all means Kurt, continue to go to war with Kyle. Maybe send him some threatening emails like you did with D&C, because those tactics have made you look great in the past.
