Well if Hillary ever decides that she can't trust him to keep a lid on who he was in the CP ring with, Kurt will probably have one last seizure that results in him shooting himself repeatedly in the back because he happened to be holding a gun he didn't own at the time.

Kurt says a lot of things and when a random digs into that information it's proven to be false.

So the school Kurt here went to was an all boys school and the chaplain he talked to for "spiritual guidance" after the Slate article was posted over a decade ago who so happens to be chaplain for that school. Even back in 2007 this man was nuts.

A lot of times it’s because public schools are shit. A lot of jewish parents enroll their kids in catholic school, so this is not that weird.

Dallas has a lot of Jewish schools, including a few private ones.

Further digging, found his sorry meant his aunt I guess? Found her tied to Heinz through family, but the obituary doesn't state how they're related.

She was Jewish but born in the United States.

Least we know his father was born in Germany, though he would have had to have left before the war unless he wanted to get out of the country the same way my grandfather did.

I think the reason why some sites like the one I found the death certificates that led me to other Eichenwald's is because the old SIN cards still had the wives last names on them, including Elva who he had divorced still had the last name on the SIN card (Do Jewish people do that?)

Decent chance his father was an economic migrant rather than fleeing oppression. Germany was so fucked up after the war I'm sure there were plenty of people eager to gtfo. Texas would have been a good place to pick since it already had a lot of people of German descent.

He's probably not even ethnically Jewish at all, but I'm guessing that to him, "My non-Jewish German dad moved to America because he didn't want to starve to death after Germany lost the war" doesn't exactly carry the same pathos as "My dear sweet Papa (we Jews call our fathers Papa) had to flee Nazi Germany because the Nazis were wanting to Holocaust him because they knew that one day he would impregnate a woman with me, Kurt Eichenwald, bane of Nazis everywhere".

All of the Eichenwald's that are listed as getting their SIN's in New York are probably all related, however doesn't say when they got it. It does say when they were born so it's a bit easier to draw that conclusion that they were related and they would have had to have come to the States before 1939, after that they would have had to lie to get to the country.

Historically it's very likely early judaism was patrinlineal and roman influence caused the shift to matrilineality. But this is a moot point since the jews are a distinct middle eastern ethnic group. Any genetic defects in brain chemistry would be passed on from the mother and father

The matrilineal-only is still very common today in Jewish communities. Many don't even accept the idea of a "half-jew", if your mother is Jewish, you are full Jewish, even if your mother is mixed as well.

I once encountered a SocJus type at a party, talking about how she was Jewish. I asked her if her mother was and she immediately went into a rant about how her rabi said it was okay.

The Nuremberg standards were made 10 years before DNA was discovered. They didn't really know you could have genetic pollution. They had to eyeball it all on appearenca and genealogy
