I'm just curious as to what type of roll Doug intended for you. Your content didn't seem like the type he would have much interest in, what with him having only a passing knowledge of gaming in general. Looking at the past specials, I notice that game reviewers tended to get less material to work with. That might just be speculation on my part though.

I was new to the site, he had no idea who I was. He apparently had bigger plans for me because of my improvisation behind the scenes at Kickassia at the next anniversary special.

What's funny is that I remember him making Obama jokes way back in the day. I don't remember the exact video but I remember the joke being something about promising change but not actually going through with it.

Doug pretty much lost his mind somewhere along the way; probably when they made Kickassia, or even before that.

I remember enjoying his videos a very long time back, 2011 or so. I remember he reviewed this french art film made by a radical feminist where he mocked the movie for being shallow and basically amounting to "all men are evil violent rapists." Unfortunately he seems to have devolved from then, inserting politics into his videos more and more often and his snobby persona stopped being a joke and just became him going on obnoxious rants in the middle of talking about movies. It's been a few years since I stopped watching and its said to see he's fallen even further.
