I don't wish to be construed to be on the wrong side of the argument, but Rittenhouse is a dweeb and a doofus with no concept of how the world works. He should not have been entrusted with a gun in the first place, because he looks exactly like the kind of moron who will wind up getting into some stupid situation where somebody gets killed. And then, that is exactly what happened.

He only fired in self-defense because he put himself in a situation that was obviously going to end in disaster. He did gun owners no favors that day, he did Republicans no favors that day, and he did Americans no favors that day.

Sure, the losers he shot were scumbags; no question about it. But he didn't heroically hunt them down and execute them in the street (which I wouldn't necessarily call "heroic" either, but at least it would make him look more badass). He killed them by pure accident, completely ignorant of their criminal records.

That said, I am not shedding any tears for the recently departed. I also suspect if you throw a rock into a crowd of Antifa, you will hit someone with a rap sheet as long as your arm. It ain't only blacks who have them...

You should be able to go where ever you want and not be raped or threatened or killed. (I WILL however victim blame if you do get yourself killed/raped because you didn't defend yourself, unless you tryed and failed: no sympathy, or were somewhere you should expect safety)

I don’t know if Kyle should really be called a hero (unless that dumpster or trash can he put out was going to be used for a building with people in it) for acting on self defense to a group of aggressors but he certainly should not have his name slandered and dragged through the mud for daring to defend himself against a person trying to take his gun ( to possible assault him with), a person hitting him with a skateboard, and a guy who said he regrets not unloading the clip into his body.
