There needs to be a hard crackdown on any rioting in Kenosha. There absolutely needs to be a strong show of force from the police and nat guard that protesting is perectly fine but if we have a repeat of last year where the cities are on fucking fire I fear that will be the spark of something terrible. You've also just emboldened people to defend their property, this potentially has the perfect storm for a tea party incident - and naturally we have the worst equipped president to deal with this.

I'm pretty worried about this.

Traffic already seemed lighter than usual yesterday, I think people are taking off for Thanksgiving like a week early. I feel like people always left around Wednesday Noon before, but maybe all the lockdown and remote work fuckery changed their habits.

I assume that's affecting things somehow. Either making it harder to book a flight, or making more people realize that wrecking someone else's community instead of their own is an option.

I wonder if thanksgiving travel is more likely to make people ok with wrecking their immediate surroundings (uncle Jimbo is a racist anyways) or less ok with it (woke college students might actually be at home and realize their family dog could die in a fire and their dog won't be as fine with it as the meme dog is).
