Kyle Rittenhouse - Riot Watch Thread

Also, what happens when Rittenhouse decides that supporting Isreal or Ukraine is a moral priority?
Well, I'd probably agree with him (partly) but if I didn't, so what? He still acted in self-defense. He wouldn't suddenly turn into a monster if I disagreed with him on some foreign policy bullshit that doesn't even really affect me.

It's more to the point about manipulation and establishing celebrities on the Right and having them becoming talking heads for policies they themselves probably haven't a clue about. Yes, he acted in self-defense. However, the ability to act in self defense doesn't suddenly make him an expert in politics. Nor should anyone be beholden to his words simply because he did the right thing in defending himself against his would-be killer.

Much like the Left likes to do by exploiting people like David Hogg. The way the Left operates in this case is Hogg "survives" the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School and so he becomes this political beacon despite sporting nothing but a victim narrative. I see the Right as already using Rittenhouse in the same manner. Both are victim narratives used to push whatever politics either party wants on other people. Both are equally manipulative, regardless of which side of the aisle you stand for.

Victims are not saints nor do they have anything special about them that deems them any more or less important than anyone else.

I agree, and he's not a particularly good one, either. Showing up on Cuckieta's show a second time after the disaster that was the first time shows that.
It'd help if there were organizations wanting to help him out and use him as a rallying figure. But it's an all too common sentiment on the right to view any attempt to organize as grifting or use these celebrity political figures as immoral. So you instead get people trying to work things out on their own or getting second rate attempts at organizing.

Like David Hogg didn't start out on his own, there was already a group of activists that had been working and basically set him up with a shell group to help make it look like he and other students were working on their own. Held his hand along the way and the result is he gets regular speaking engagements and interviews to promote the Left's view on gun rights.

He's also obviously a puppet, and like Greta Thunberg, isn't going to convince anyone who isn't already convinced, while somewhat annoying even some of the people who agree with both of them to some extent. Maybe they're a rallying figurehead to people already on the boat, but nobody's getting on for climate goblin or Hogg.

Rittenhouse and what happened to him is a good symbol not just of gun rights but the right to self-defense in general, and the chicanery used to try to lock him up for life speaks for itself. That doesn't grant him any particular eloquence, though.

The real thunk-provoking part is that his father, Kevin Hogg, was a former FBI agent.

They're nagging voices in the backs of people's minds that their side is right. May not view any value in that, but it is there.

Kyle's family has gone back to e-begging. His sister Faith is claiming her & her mother are about to be evicted in 8 days, that his sister has been in&out of hospital and hasn't been able to work for 4 months.

Their GFM specifically calls Kyle out for not "supporting" the family, so presumably they are still on the outs over disputes over his book.

Disappointing that after all they've been through, they still don't have the good sense NOT to use GFM.

Last I heard, Kyle's mother and his two sisters had left Illinois during his legal proceedings and moved to an unknown location because of harassment.

It seems they've outed themselves and their new (soon to be former) home.

There weren't any long term riots, just the next day pretty much because, even leftards knew that if you found Kyle, he'd wait for you to charge him so he could legally shoot you and then he'd be acquitted at the next trial and your worthless name would be forgotten.

2A and self defense wins again. I recommend making mobile plastic statues of Kyle on flying police drones so that they can weed out the worst of Antifa in a protest before they retreat back to the safety of the crowd.

Kyle should have changed his name and moved to the most conservative place he could find like Wyoming/Montana or some shit. Did he not find any lawyers willing to take up defamation cases against the countless media companies that dragged his named under the mud?

The right-wing grifter circuit is going to dry up. Can’t imagine he’s making too much money as it is.
