I think that until schools are actually teaching the basic minimum of education, like how to fucking read and do math, that all non-essentials should fall by the wayside. Trying to do everything when you can't do anything is a recipe for failure.

Also telling kids specifically not to do something guarantees they will. I remember an anti-drug idiot they had in my high school telling people not to sniff glue. Amazingly, this became a widespread practice only AFTER this idiot basically advertised it and even explained how "not" to do it.

Local schools are abstinence only where I live. Unsurprisingly the highest rate of teen-pregnancy is in the county for the state. IMO they should be taught in high-school how to write a check and balance a bank account, then how to buy effective contraception with the money in the account and use it properly as part of a life-skills curriculum. It costs the state less than if they're just told to take a cold bath.

See, I used to kinda like Laci, back when she was most well known for her sex positivity videos. A lot of them had legitimately good information that isn't even touched on in sex education classes (at least in the USA they aren't, and especially in the south). Things like vaginal cleanliness and health, period coping methods, things like that. It's great to get that kind of info out there, because there are a lot of girls who just remain ignorant about their own bodies and it's not their fault. Most are just taught to not have sex because of the myriad of STDs they may or may not catch as a result. So yeah, a point for her.

That's where my praises end though, because at the end of the day, Laci's just another white bread basic feminist who brings nothing to the table. She tries to being intersectionalism up in her feminist videos but they always fall flat in one way or another. Her brand of feminism also has zero focus on men, which I know some of you would say "well no shit it doesn't", but talking about men's issues is important if gender equality is ever going to happen, especially if some of those issues will indirectly effect women (ie. the correlation between men and violent tendencies).

It's why the above tweet is so ridiculous. Laci, mental health is a huge correlation in gun violence, especially in these mass shooting cases. It's because men aren't ever encouraged to actually seek help for their emotional problems (in fact they're taught to actively avoid it), and it turns into huge outbursts that are often violent. Laci doesn't want to admit that mental illness is a key factor because she herself claims to be mentally ill. But it's like, that's not the underlying focus here. I'm mentally ill myself and I don't find shame in saying that this is an issue. Poor mental health doesn't equate to violence, but not trying to fix those health problems can, especially with men in this country because masculinity is often taught in the context of violence. She's just missing the point entirely and instead just wants to cry "but that's ableist!" because that's the easy thing to do. Uber-basic third-wave feminists like Laci are always the ones who will take any opportunity to shit on men, while at the same time not realizing that it's just making the gender divide wider and wider, and not giving men the opportunity to try and fix cultural issues they face.

Kudos, but feminists are already on it. They call it "toxic masculinity", and it's obviously patriarchy's fault. And men should fix how people form their expectations of boys. Because it's a feminist issue, that is: raised by women to provide constructive feedback like the benevolent saviour that feminism is. But do not expect help with the resources Laci's feminism sits on, no, make your own movement, shitlord, and be done with this fucking entitlement and also educate yourself. Feminism only wants to help you fight your toxic masculinity, so shut the fuck up and stop expecting help. Are you a MAN, or a bitch?!!? HAHAHAHAHAHA shitlord.

On the topic of sex education in school and how it relates to Green. While I have no evidence to back this up I would think that the rise of the internet has really added to the rise of sexual activity between teens, teen pregnancy, and the level of STD's a few brought up. With the rise of the internet comes a monumental amount of pornography that anyone, regardless of their age, can access. Kids see that, want to try, it happens, etc.

Green comes off as the pass around girl who fucked any swinging dick in her vicinity only to be dumped or left again and again making her become this thing we see today. In fact of all the hard core modern femtards they all have several things in common - that being among them typically.
