Lacrosse is an old sport dating back to the 17th century in the US. Recently it’s been growing and considering that I was surprised to see a lack of a lacrosse thread and any discussions

Well, here’s a thread. Discuss College level lacrosse, fantasy lacrosse, or whatever you want. I’ll likely drop in with some “Premier League Lacrosse” and you can discuss and pitch some proposals.

[Separate from OP] I’ve made “proposals” of Professional Men’s Lacrosse Teams and I’ve compiled a list of proposed sports team names for any professional Lacrosse team in case Premier Lacrosse League decides to settle in fixed cities.

I’ve divided up this fantasy league into two major “Divisions” (East-West), incorporate various American and Canadian cities in this proposed lacrosse league (once it grows more and gains a wider audience)

Eastern Division:
  1. New York Hunters
  2. Brooklyn Barons
  3. Buffalo Muskets
  4. Boston Flagbearers
  5. Philadelphia Liberty
  6. DC Freedom
  7. Atlanta Arrows
  8. Nashville Dixie
  9. Jacksonville Bears
  10. Chicago Vortex
  11. Columbus Iron
  12. Milwaukee Tigers
  13. Detroit Power
  14. Toronto Beavers
  15. Montreal Voyageurs
Western Division:
  1. Dallas Riders
  2. Houston Comets
  3. New Orleans Crescents
  4. Minnesota Faering
  5. Utah Elks
  6. Phoenix Roadrunners
  7. Colorado Cougars
  8. Los Angeles Quakes
  9. San Diego Jaguars
  10. San Fransisco Miners
  11. Sacramento Sasquatch
  12. Las Vegas Aces
  13. Portland Lumberjacks
  14. Seattle Mountaineers
  15. Vancouver Whalers
This is how I’d make my proposed League (ideally, since attracting a loyal city fan base will give each team more of a emotional connection to the people of each metro)

All i know is it was invented by some of the indigenous people of North America, it's also popular a thing up here in Canada (i didn't have a choice where i was born) and that this team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haudenosaunee_men's_national_lacrosse_team
is the only international team among the indigenous (is that term ok, i don't know rn) people of North America and represents the Iroquois Confederacy. I actually don't remember how the game is even played honestly
(also i notice there are no teams between Toronto and Vancouver and honestly it would be a bit difficult for Alberta (I cannot speak for Saskatchewan or Manitoba since i never lived there) to support a team based in Ontario, BC or Quebec (my opinion is based on a flawed comparison to the situation in the NHL.))

Ideally it’s best to start out in the bigger markets, and test the grounds, garner capital and then create expansion teams after the fact.

This is just my fantasy league ofc. Not reality.
