I'm a pretty nostalgic person. I definitely prefer old cartoons from the 90s to cartoons nowadays. Can't get enough of Beast Wars.

In MI we used to get a Faygo brand "red pop"

It went great with vanilla ice cream... sad to say i cant get it were i live now. My wife has tried it hates it doesn't understand it... but those of us from south east MI we get it....

I have no idea what could cause you to favor the inferior beverage.

I'm afraid I'm on The Dude's side with this one ( as remarkable as that is : P ), Pepsi tastes pretty awful to me.

As far as the main topic goes, I generally think everything's basically better than it ever was unless we're talking about US politics. The one major gripe I would have is the quality of Final Fantasy games. They really went downhill after FFVI, and it shows. There's hope for the future with games like Bravely Default, but it just seems like really good JRPGs are so hard to find these days.

I have to agree with this. Mostly because I've drunk the stuff recently, and it really does taste rather bitter with a bad aftertaste. Not that Coke's much better mind you, but it's a hell of a lot better than whatever Pepsi's putting in their stuff.

Seconded. It's sad how far that genre has fallen now. I think the last JRPG that I played and really really loved was Baten Kaitos Origins on the Gamecube.

i use fountain pens and lj. 'nuff said.

i miss old internets - before everything was full of 10mb of bg shit, looked like an ipod, and had "pingbacks" and widgets and what the fuck ever

i like simple things.

except fountain pens are way more complex than ballpoints. but other than that
