I'm not one to buy into conspiracy theories but nothing about this story really adds up and after a year of investigating the only thing law enforcement could come up with was "well he had some gambling losses"
Which is great, except in the days before the shooting he went around town and paid off all his debts. If your plan was to go out in a hail of gunfire would you bother to pay anything off?
He gave his long time girlfriend $100,000 just prior so he wasn't hurting for money and she happened to be out of the country at the time it happened.
The guy worked for Lockheed Martin and was a successful gambler both which speak to a high level of intelligence but the only thing he could come up with was a bump stock? I have to believe a guy like that would have rigged up a simple solenoid to the trigger to fire the weapon in full auto especially if he was going to fire from a fixed position.
