This is only from next door in the Pictures that Made Me Laugh thread but I saved it because it is unfathomably true. I have seen this so many times (and been the brunt of it more than once).



Why does this happen? I even had a woman I dated complain to me that before me there'd been a guy trying to chat her up in a club that she liked and her friends kept chasing him off saying "she's not interested" even though she tried to stop them.

Women will ferociously fight to cockblock someone if they feel envious, sometimes it is utilized to keep them from being bothered. That's why you usually see a gaggle of women when they're going out to some bar. This is why sometimes a male friend will 'jump on the grenade' to distract the attempted cockblock by a less desired woman.

It's silly as hell but its how it goes sometimes.
