A buddy sent me an injury photo of someone who tried 3d printing a back plate for his Glock. 3rd party Glock backplate for reference:

That's a part that's supposed to be metal because it holds the firing pin assembly. The 3d printed assembly catastrophically failed and send this assembly flying backwards at roughly 9mm bullet speeds into his face because of course he tested it by aiming and firing the gun normally rather than remote testing it with a string.
