Was that the interior design lady? Yeah, that was an intense episode. She had the worst luck even when everyone was in her corner, and it was a trip watching her devolve from a charismatic and well put together older lady, into a hysterical old woman clinging to a bunch of junk.

She was mean to literally everyone she interacted with. I remember the younger black dude being so understanding with her when she began snapping at him and telling him to leave. Before he went home he said that this was the third time she had pushed him away when he tried to help her get her shit together.

I understand how she gained friendship given her the more platable aspects of her personality, but as to how she retains them, I literally have no clue.

Ironically I know exactly what that's about because it was one of the dumbest "wars" in history. And yes it started over a pig. Nobody actually died. Except for the pig.

Basically the armies refused to fight it.

Baynes to land marines on San Juan Island and engage the American soldiers under the command of Brigadier-General Harney. (Harney's forces had occupied the island since July 27, 1859.) Baynes refused, deciding that "two great nations in a war over a squabble about a pig" was foolish.
