I'm honestly surprised they haven't retroactively gone back and started censoring old episodes like Leonard Lake and Charles Ng with how bad it's gotten.

Didn't they do that with the first 30+ episodes when they moved over to Spotify? The oldest episode on Spotify was like 40 something when they moved over and tried disregarding the initial ones.

they hid them even before that because they were extremely low quality and think they just didnt want people to start with them. I can remember that one episode where they walk around to the places of the son of sam shootings and the episode mainly was henry breathing very heavily from walking.

Agreed. The first episodes are not good and it took a bit for them to find their footing. BTK is their first real episode imo and is where people should start.

The random episodes called things like 'Aliens' and 'UFOs' were pretty shit but I did like the random 911 call reaction episodes and the spree killer episodes. I guess those just didn't fit the episodic format they were going for not long after that.

I'm not sure if it's that one or another early episode but they had a cuddly tiger animated tune as the pallet-cleanser between horrific recordings and it was fucking hilarious.

It was some self-confessed pedophile talking about horrific abuse he'd inflicted to kids and his own children and going into detail with it, which then cut to Marcus playing this:

Nope, you're right. The one titled Call 911! I loved the tiger song, but I could only listen to the episode once,

due to a call where a very young girl calls 911 after her brother commits suicide. She screams WHY DID YOU DO IT. Fucked me up. Still lives in my head and breaks my heart. She couldn't have been more than 10.
