Laughable DEI policies - Diversity, equity, and inclusion

As someone who has German as my first language, I approve of this.
Americans making stupid Nazi jokes with bad imitated German accents have annoyed me greatly for my whole life.
If you want to be racist, be funny about it. Low-effort accents are trash tier humor.
I can't believe your electrician opa gave his all for you to be this fragile.

if Tumblr wasn’t reduced to a shell of its former self after the 2018 ban on pornography.

I was there Gandalf. I was there six years ago... when Tumblr banned pornography.
I was there the day the sauce links of the /gif/ archives failed.

Got two more for you fine autists. The names of these programs are my own editorialized versions, both for OPSEC and humor value.

First is 'DEI work is actual work': Historically there was a tacit understanding that, outside of HR, DEI work should only be a small amount of an employee's time and missing deadlines or pushing work onto other people to make time for DEI is unacceptable. This makes sense because we are an engineering company. More recently my department (3rd line with 5th line being company president) manager has done a 180 on this - DEI should be counted as time worked, without limitations. Even for off-site and weekend 'affinity group' evens.

Now for the part that will surprise nobody: The reason the department manager had to explain the 'DEI work is actual work' policy was in response to a question about how to charge DEI work from a troon who did next to no technical work. It's easy to connect the dots when pretty much everything our company writes is put in a shared database with the ability to filter by things like author name (and because troons gonna troon, he picked a . . . distinctive name to put it politely). On a related note, the unit the troon works in is colossal. Nobody think too hard about why that might be unless you want to be summoned by HR.

Second is 'Adventures in Narcissism': Have you ever wanted to talk about intimate personal details on-video so that it can be shared with a handful of DEI cultists, HR drones and senior managers looking for good-boy points, and people looking for bullshit to avoid real work your True and Honest Work Friends? No? Well the offer stands and People of Pronouns are already signing up in droves! So far we've gotten a pooner (who can't even keep her BS story straight - we're talking about major details too like what country she grew up in), a butt pirate, and a woman with multiple psych issues that should frankly be disqualifying given her job (no idea why she offered to share and no idea why nobody told her this was a terrible idea). This is all in the service of 'our Diversity and Inclusion Journey' and given that my company has its own internal version of Facebook, I think it's only fair we should also be allowed to have our own internal version of Kiwi Farms

You'll notice I left off lesbians on both of these - lesbian erasure is real, and DEI encourages it.

It might not be the right thread to post it and to bring back this thread from the dead but after laughable DEI policies, here the DEI blues.

I got a feelin' called the DEI blues

By Silvio Canto, Jr.

It's been a tough week for DEI. Maybe many on the Left are singing that song by Hank Williams about having a feeling called the blues since the fire hydrants didn't pump water.

It's hard to believe that a city (or state) can spend so much money on DEI and end up with so many incompetent people running things. Maybe they need to check out the courses and ask if anyone is teaching anything about resolving anything. I guess it was all about feelings and social justice.
Like other blue spaces, Los Angeles is paying the price for focusing on DEI rather than results. Let's check the story from Joel Kotkin:
