I never played Darkest Dungeon and thought that what it needed was demon dicks and clown tits. One way to make the game more horrifying but it still begs the question Why?

Because what is more Lovecraftian then now being stuck with knowing of the horribleness of reality; that is the sick minded people infested with forbidden knowledge that has driven them so mad, so insane from starring directly into the abyss, they now feel the need to jerk off to it.

Opening the Nexus page for any popular game is pretty much the same as.

Terraria has a few of these in the form of resprites, mostly for the Empress of Light. The steam workshop I'm pretty sure allows NSFW as long as none of it is visible directly on the workshop page. Minecraft obviously had that coomer mod that got picked up by a tranny who went fucking nuts working on it 24/7 in a predictable display of porn addiction. Definitely the most baffling is Rimworld's porn mods, with characters that are stylized to resemble and named after board game pieces lmao

The biggest DD mod, The Black Reliquary toes the line between art that looks like the developers could have made and "we hired a porn artist so we let him draw a faction of 70% big breasted half naked muscle woman barbarians and the faction boss is the biggest(in every way) of them all".

At the very least it's in the darkest dungeon artstyle so it gets a thumbs up for me for that.

I guess X-Piratez for OpenXcom also counts. Very fun "everything and the kitchen sink" mod much like BR, "artstyle" is a mixture between the Heavy Metal magazine, various anime and art for Conan/Red Sonja. I put artstyle in quotations because it's more or less fanart ripped from various sources.

I don't think either are straight up coomer mods, I think the developers just wanted to have everything they ever thought "wouldn't it be cool if...?" and it just happened that "my entire army is a bunch of scantily clad, huge, muscular mutant women" snuck its way into that thought.

IIRC the Black Reliquary people tuned some of the coomer elements down from what they were. I've played a version of it a bit more than a year ago and thought the mod was good enough to look past some of the designs.

The modding community has always been full of autists with big egos and coomers. It's probably no surprise that a lot of the lewd mods are made by japs. TBH it's impressive to me that some of these guys have become experts in math, programming, and art just so they can mod sexy ladies with jiggling tits into every game they play. They are the unappreciated polymaths of the modern age.

As for how horny it is in it's current state, IMO it's a YMMV thing. I can see how it'd be too much for some people, but I think it does a good enough job of prioritizing cool over being obvious fetish bait, and that it all feels appropriate for the atmosphere and environments.

"Restraint" may not be the best choice of word, but the AGP cumbrains usually involved in modding are rarely able to control themselves from going full visible puffy inverted nipples with Cum Inflation Meter Mechanic and shit, let alone with adherence to the original artstyle. Which they didn't control themselves in earlier editions of Black Reliquary, going from the uncensored mods on the workshop and Nexus.

I was going to include some screenshots of some of the more contentious designs (they're not shown on the Steam page and are a little annoying to find) as well as the uncensored mod here, but images are broken for me right now, so for now you'll be spared the full-on retarded leaky beach-ball tit imagery. I can't fault anyone for being soured on Black Reliquary if that was part of their first impression. I sure as shit wouldn't have given it a chance. I would've just assumed it was the same weiner-yanking addicted submental bullshit with no respect for the source material like 90% of the other projects for this game.

People might forget that this kind of art, complete with dick shitting nipples, was widely mocked at one point. Now, it's no longer a meme, it's become normalcy. Just another symptom of a sick mind, you can tell the state of the community by which fetishes they prioritize(which is why being too prudent isn't necessarily a good thing when it can be used to gauge someone's mindset at a glance).
Here is my challenge: It's easy to give out an example of a funny or Islamic coomer mod, but do you think there is a good or tasteful kind out there? For example, would a classic like Nude Lara(Tomb Raider) be acceptable or is even that crossing the line? I've come to hate porn addicts and coomers over the years, but I also don't like the other side of the coin either(for example, in Fallout 3/NV when you strip clothes off an NPC they all wear the same pristine white undies(w/a bra) that look like they've been freshly opened out of the box. The game takes place 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse, and NPCs like Raiders end up wearing more clothes than they had before you took them off).
